If you are a lover of oxtail and other cuts of beef in a Pho then this is a fabulous choice of a restaurant. The different meats are all cooked perfectly and are absolutely delicious, the broth is sweet and heavenly, and the side dish of greens and herbs are fresh and crisp. The combo is 115K and absolutely worth it. 👏🫰👏

This place is on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list.  The pho was decent but not sure it’s Michelin worthy.  It’s all outdoor seating and the chairs are plastic stools.  The check is determined by counting the number of bowls and glasses in the table.  They won’t clear anything off the table because of this.

Definitely one of the better bowls of pho bo I've had in HCMC. I had the rare steak and flank steak mix. Beautifully tender. The soup was complex with the right level of pepper, heat, herbal for my taste buds. Price was good for the quality. Highly recommend.

Walked by and noticed the Michelin Gourmet poster. Had to try it so I ditched my plan and sat down on a table just by the corner of the street. I’m not too picky about cleanliness or atmosphere but it was annoying when I was approached by two old ladies trying to sell me lottery tickets. Flies kept on pestering me as well. Wish I sat indoors or something.

Ordered the pho tai and lemonade. 87 k. Value wise, it was a good deal. Bowl was small and I sweared I asked for a large. Wasn’t sure if the bowl I got was a large or small. You’re gonna want two for a North American diet.

Soup was flavourful and hot. Beef was decent and not chewy. There’s a chilli flake with oil that tasted great in my dipping sauce. Ate it pretty quickly but I was starving. It wasn’t amazing and felt like any pho restaurant I visited.

If you came to this area for the lunch lady. Skip it and eat here instead.

My impression after the first bite was that “Ok, this is good Pho. But I know the betters.” Everything is done right: the broth is rich but not too salty, the beef is tender, and I particularly like the skinny noodles - they are not the typical Pho noodle stripes. A decent Pho to try but honestly not an “oh wow” Michelin experience.

A personal note for those who are MSG intolerant like myself. I’m quite sensitive to MSG and I experienced some symptoms after the meal (sweating palms, fluttering heartbeats, and nausea). So if you have the same problem, consider not to drink the broth 🥲🥲
