We ordered raw shrimp and spring rolls. The raw shrimp is served with vermicelli, herbs, and spices, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. I usually don’t enjoy raw shrimp, but the combination of spiciness and sourness made it the perfect starter for our meal. The spring rolls were also unique compared to the typical ones, with a higher proportion of meat to herbs, giving them a heartier flavor.

For our main course, we had the oyster hotpot, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the herbs paired perfectly with the oysters, enhancing the overall experience.

The service was excellent as well. The staff were attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even asked, making the meal even more enjoyable.

Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City!

Great restaurant for inviting sincere friends or importantly guests from overseas, etc. Ms.Tu, the owner of the fantastic restaurant is so talented and kind. The hotpot with beef and oyster is obviously must-try dish. Amazing. The restaurant is also a good fruit shop during day time but only when they have good ones. So professional. Hope more and more people enjoy the authentic Vietnamese cuisine here.

Below everage level. When we talk about authentic Vietnamese foods,  the food here  is not good. If your group is more than 4, then you need to order 2 each. Otherwise, 2 will have & the rest just sit & see. I am 51 & I spend all my life with Vietnamese foods both north to south what I can see in this restaurant are foreign tourists & young Vietnamese so if you would like to have authentic Vietnamese foods is it a good place to come?

Happy to have found this place. We dined here twice during our stay in HCM. We tried the lau Thai style, canh chua, spring roll, nem roll, ca kho, banh xeo, fried mackerel (I think), and bbq pork rolled in rice paper. I really wanted to try their tofu with lemongrass but they ran out.

Overall my favorite was the canh chua and banh xeo. I would have preferred if the lau was with fish.  The portions are a bit on the smaller side.

The restaurant is clean, indoor/outdoor so ac is not really strong. I would definitely come back here.

The best we had in Ho Chi Minh. Comfortable, delicate, and clean.

In Taoyuan, Taiwan, there are many Vietnamese restaurants. The ones we’ve tried before tend to leave a strong first impression, like Vietnamese pancakes that have an intense buttery flavor from the first bite. While delicious at first, it becomes overwhelming by the fifth bite. However, Nha Tu’s dishes are refined and smooth, allowing you to enjoy every bite from start to finish. It feels like having a meal at home.

Every dish was handled with precision. The chili sauce for the mussels was mild and soothing, leaving us feeling comfortable even the next day. It’s a shame that with only two of us, we couldn’t order more dishes—otherwise, we would have loved to try the oyster hotpot.

We were walk-in customers and arrived just after 5:00 PM. Within 10 minutes of our arrival, there were already customers hoping for a last-minute table, and the next available slot was after 10:00 PM. We were very lucky.

However, we noticed a reserved table next to us for guests who were maybe supposed to arrive around 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM. By the time we left, they still hadn’t shown up. It was unfortunate that the restaurant had to turn away several walk-in customers because of this. Perhaps if the reservation slots were set at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM, instead of 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM, it might help manage table turnover more efficiently. This way, you could potentially accommodate 2-3 rounds of guests in one evening. Just a small suggestion—I’m not sure if it’s helpful.
