Really good beef pho but it was a bit of a challenge to order cos there's no menu and no price list. When I went there on a chilly Wednesday morning at 7:45AM, it was filled with locals having their breakfast, and not a single confused foreigner in sight except for me 😅

The staff didn't seem to have time to entertain requests or questions about what to order or how to order cos they just keep telling me they only have beef noodle soup, so that's what I settled for. But after I got my bowl of beef pho, I noticed that some people got extra vegetables, which I would've asked for if I had known about the existence of these leafy vegetables.

The pho was very tasty but I would've enjoyed being able to adjust the seasoning as I ate; however, they had to keep passing the chair with the condiments on it because there simply wasn't enough.

Would I come back here? Probably. The beef pho is really good but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best beef pho in Hanoi...

(But maybe I'm just saying that cos I had my pho in front of a street gutter. Who knows 🤷‍♀️)

Hands down best meal I had in Hanoi. Everything I’ve dreamed of in pho. Plus plus cool authentic local vibes on plastic stools, on the street with Aunties cooking giant pots of healing goodness and direct view of the cathedral. All the condiments you need. Highly recommend!

This place is legit.  As I was going to take my first bite, the lady took the spoon from my hand and helped to mix the raw beef in with the soup some more. Indicating I should cook it more in the hot soup before eating it.when it was ready, she returned my spoon with a smile and gestured me to enjoy.

They will bring you a small plate of fried bread sticks.  If you don't eat them, they will not charge you.  If they bring you tea and you drink it, they will also charge you. I didn't know this but I didn't mind anyways.

When you leave to settle your bill, they will ask if you ate the bread sticks and drank tea.  If you say no to both, you only get charged for the noodles   I ate one of the bread sticks as I like the texture when dipping it into the broth.  In total, pho bo and bread was VND70K.

Super worth it for Michelin rated pho and totally deserves this rating
