Chose to sit down at this restaurant because of the location. However, I am Vietnamese, born and raised here but this might be the worst food in the last 20 years I've eaten 😬... We were starving and ordered quite a lot before realized the kitchen was next to the dirty toilet. The food came so late.

They fried the garlic bread with lots of oil and the garlic itself came in burnt chunks, completely soggy & soaking in oil.
The garlic butter prawns dish was unbearable, cheap frozen tiny prawns stir fried with very cheap Vietnamese margarine called Tuong An (I could tell right away as its flavor is unique).
My hubby only tried 1 piece of the stir fried chicken with cashews and almost gagged...
The bill is close to 1M vnd for these dishes which we couldn't eat 90%.

This restaurant really needs to change the chef and at least hire a chef, not just using some random guy who doesn't even know what he is doing. Such a joke

Nice noodles and desserts. Many choices for cold desserts. Not too sweet and really cools me down on a hot weather. Service is great. Not overly touristy price. 20k for a bowl of dessert, max 35k.

A Vietnamese noodle shop named "Kao Lao," which serves noodles despite the name, has a moderate taste. The seating is on low stools, which isn't very comfortable. The menu is limited. The location is by the river and near a walking street.

Apart from serving some of the finest beers I have ever consumed,the food was great, the service was perfect and food was wonderful. Sitting here watching the world go by made for a top notch afternoon.

Local food from the area. The staff / owners are very nice and corteous. All dishes we tried are great. Pricing for dishes is adjusted to the area and actually cheaper probably. Drink prices are a bit elevated which is alright when comparing it to the other restaurants in the area. Highly recommend checking this place out if you come to Hoi An
