Amazing experience at Ona. Really  relaxed vibe and friendly staff. Although I didn't book ahead online, I was able to get a seat indoors in 15 minutes (go early).
Its worthwhile waiting to sit indoors as the seating is around a few coffee machine stations. It's quite interesting watching them make the coffee, almost like science using scales - they take their coffee seriously.
As a non coffee drinker I enjoyed the experience and enjoyed sampling the coffee. I went with a coffee connoisseur and the feedback was Raspberry Candy is a one of a kind blend with fruity notes not easily found in cafes. The food is very good, I ordered off the specials menu.
- Toastie $16, tastes very healthy and I like how they have prepared the bread. One piece is toasted and crunchy, the other piece of bread is toasted lightly. A nice play on texture.
- Turkish eggs $24, bread has a nice crunch and the eggs are perfectly cooked. The sauce is intersting. It's not a big dish but delicious.
The service is impeccable, the barista manning the coffee station is multi tasking so if you want their attention a smile will do. I read some other reviews commenting on the service, however to be fair - they need to concentrate on their task and not have customers ask too many questions, distracting them.
I would definitely bring out of town guests here for a great experience.

There is a 10% weekend surcharge but well worth a unique experience.
Plenty of off street parking, the venue is situated on a light industrial area away from the main strip.
Highly recommend you book ahead online.

ONA Coffee is, without a doubt, the best specialty coffee in Australia! The quality, depth of flavour, and craftsmanship that go into every cup are exceptional. Whether you’re a coffee snob or just love a great brew, ONA never disappoints. The food is also excellent—beautifully presented, fresh, and flavoured. The combination of incredible coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes this place a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved my visit to Ona Coffee Sydney! The Raspberry Candy was a standout – such a unique and delicious flavour, I highly recommend it. Honestly, every coffee I tried was spot on – full of flavour and perfectly balanced. If you’re into exceptional coffee, this is the place to be!

Hidden in the backstreets of Marrickville, this cafe was top on our bucket list. Whilst it was a good experience, the line was long and not well organised.

It took a long time to take orders and bring our coffee. Couldn't get what I originally wanted because they had sold out of a lot of ingredients e.g. certain dishes and options.

Pasta was insanely good - best I’ve ever had. burger was good, just a bit sweeter than he'd prefer.

Coffee was great but was only warm when we got it. It also was on the weaker side than the more robust and strong flavours we had asked for.

Service was inconsistent. Front door was good, some waiters were great but there were others just seemed they didn't want to be there.

Overall it was a good experience and if not for the long lines, would definitely visit again

One of the best cafes in Sydney.
This one is Ona’s flagship and it did not disappoint.
We bought the flat white with the aspen blend and the iced berry latte for drinks. Both were amazing, 10/10 for both. Please try the raspberry candy, we absolutely loved it!

For the food - we had the house made scone, it was crunchy, and the crème and strawberry jam add such a great layer of sweetness and it was just so rich and creamy

The Turkish eggs were amazing!!!
I was shocked, it was the best I’ve ever had. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the sausages were slightly crispy and were fried to perfection.
Absolutely banging.
