Bicentennial Park is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy nature. It’s home to various animals and water birds, making it a great spot for wildlife lovers. Many families come here for picnics and BBQs, creating a lively yet peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind, and I envy those who live nearby!

Return visit after many years.  What a beautiful area of parkland and recreation this has become!  Mature trees now enhance shady groves of shelter.  Some lovely vistas.  We will come back again soon.

Bicentennial Park is hands-down one of the best spots in Sydney Olympic Park. The atmosphere is unreal – calm, relaxing, and perfect for all kinds of gatherings. We booked one of those covered benches for a birthday, and it worked a treat! There are plenty of options for both big and small families, but you’ve got to book early – at least a week or two ahead.

The park is packed with things to do. There’s a top-notch playground for the kids, with swings, ladders, and heaps of fun equipment. You can also go for a short stroll to check out the ducks, fish, and other wildlife – a real treat for nature lovers. The facilities are spot on too, with clean public toilets and loads of shaded parking under trees.

If you’re planning a picnic, bring a mat, find a nice shady spot, and just soak in the chilled vibes. There are heaps of great spots for photos too, so don’t forget your camera. Honestly, it’s a ripper place for a day out, and I’d recommend it 100% to anyone.

Bicentennial Park at Sydney Olympic Park is a stunning 40-hectare parkland offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and world-class facilities. The park becomes even more gorgeous during autumn, with vibrant, colorful leaves creating a picturesque setting—making it a perfect place for a photoshoot! Whether you're enjoying BBQs, cycling, or strolling through scenic lakeside meadows, there's something for everyone. The park’s lake is home to swans, pelicans, and ducks, adding to its natural charm. Highlights include the Treillage Tower with spectacular views, peaceful walking paths, bird hides, and fantastic playgrounds, including a Liberty Swing for kids. The Waterview Cafe is ideal for a relaxing break, and the Waterview Venue is perfect for events. You can also hire various pavilions like the Corymbia and Lake Pavilions for gatherings. Dogs on leashes are welcome (except in the Badu Mangroves), and there are off-leash areas. New parking conditions are in place from February 2025: the first 2 hours of parking are free if you register your vehicle plate number, after which a fee applies ($3 per hour on weekdays and $5 per hour on weekends). Just remember, during a Total Fire Ban, only park-installed BBQs can be used, and shelters must be secured properly. Whether for a casual visit or a special event, this park is a true gem in the heart of Sydney Olympic Park.

Gorgeous park to stroll through on a clear day. It’s a 20min walk or so from Concord West Station to Sydney Olympic Park IGA. Living in OP has been a lovely experience and this park has been one of the best features to visit other than the close proximity to the stadiums.
