Not a fan of the schnitty burger. The patty is texturally lacking and the flavour is missing an edge as well. Props for being plant based, but I can’t recommend it in terms of enjoyment. Perhaps the other burgers fare better?

Tried their plant based burgers and they taste really good. My partner didnt notice the plant based until I told her and she was really impressed  by the taste and got surprised. The menu is fully plant based and the quality is really good. The staff were nice and the place was clean. The only suggestion that i could make is to use the natural plants instead of the artificial ones which not only it improves the atmosphere but also it would be more aligned with plant based menu.

Loved it. We tried a burger and BBQ mushroom bowl and both were excellent and very reasonably priced. Our meal was $35 for two and that includes a burger, fries and soda, plus a bowl and cookie.

Only downside was the cookie for desert - it had a bit too much flour in it but only a minor complaint

Loved that they also have a separate menu with Mexican food and kebabs.

Will definitely come back.

Love everything about Soul Burger, from the hipster vibe to the friendly service and the local crowd. It's fully vegan down to the cheeze. I ordered the cheeseburger which was absolutely delicious with the pickles on it, yum! The gluten-free bun was crumbling apart and a tad too starchy, but I appreciate having the G-free option. The BF who is a carnivore ordered the Beyond Meat burger and liked it so much that he contemplated ordering another. They have kombucha in different flavors and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend it even if you're not vegan.

My friend still occasionally looks at me and says 'I can't believe it wasn't chicken'. I've only at the chi'ken at this one, southern fried, and it was good. To call it southern fried though I think it needs to be so crunchy you hurt your mouth--but I know I'll never get that without a southerner in the kitchen. Love the breathatarian menu X-)

Great concept! something different Tried their southern fried chicken. It totally blew my mind away because as I was eating it, i just could not believe that it was plant based! Woah. What a magical burger! My flatmate and I decided to drop in on Thursday night at about 8pm. It wasn't packed, so there was room for us to find a place to sit. We weren't really aware about Soul Burger, but we heard that it was meat free. We're pretty open minded, so figured, why not give it a go... and OMFG. Everything about our burgers was MAGIC. We both ordered the "cheese please" and dove right into it. To set the scene, we're both meat eaters, but not hardcore 'we gotta have meat at every meal' meat eaters... so when we first bit into our burgers, we both looked at each other and were like.. "Is this beef? How is this not beef?" It was AHHHHFARKINGMAAAAZING. We both stopped talking and just continued to taste. The sauces were top notch. I was loving the sweet pickles with sauces.. I cant express how good it was.. you're just gonna have to go and try it yourself. Today, my flatmate messaged me and said he just had another burger for dinner. I think you've now got two new regulars. Oh, and out front, there's a plaque - this place donates monthly to the welfare of animals. It's a top place and every meal you have there directly helps support animals. So, this place has my vote both in taste in helping the community. Thanks for existing. We love you.

One of the best vegan burger spots ever! Really wish they had these spots in the USA. However, because they don't--would definitely recommend stopping by and indulging in a wonderful item off this menu!

Last time I ordered here I got a decent burger and some not great loaded fries. The burger was good enough for me to come back though and this time I decided to get their HSP. This HSP was extremely disappointing. For the price I was expecting some decent stuff but the portion size was tiny, the chips weren't great, but worst of all the sauces and the way they mixed with the seasoning on the chips was just overwhelming. I'm willing to go back here for burgers if I'm nearby but I won't ever be ordering a chip option off the menu again. Really disappointed by this one.

So, soul burger is probably fine, but there was no way for me to find out. Despite having about a dozen rings on the menu marked "gluten free," including a gf bun, everything is cooked on the same grill, the same surfaces as gluten-containing foods. Thus this restaurant is definitively not Celiac/coeliac-safe. Too bad, looked good.

when I moved to Sydney, all my vegan friends told me that I HAVE to try Soul Burger. I tried it one day after a long day at the beach. I wasn't super starving, which wasn't a good time to get a massive burger. I ordered a vanilla milkshake to split with my boyfriend, we got fries, he ordered the American burger and I ordered the Aussie burger. Everything was so un-vegan tasting (does that even make sense?), it actually freaked me out thinking I was eating real meat. I don't usually eat fake meat so this was a trip. My boyfriend loved it and the burgers are so filling that we couldn't even finish them (really uncommon for us). The burgers are delicious and definitely worth trying. I'd definitely recommend coming here starving to fulfill all of your vegan fantasies.

Not a fan of mashed up lentils to be made to look like beef patties then to have that taste for the rest of the day.

I am from the states and follow a few Australian youtubers that recommended Soul Burger. I'm so glad I came because this place is phenomenal! The service was awesome - the girl who took my order was super friendly. I ordered the southern fried chicken burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were pretty good, but the burger was incredible! I seriously could eat it every day. The combination of aioli, sautéed onions, and fried chik'n patty (that you can't even tell is vegan btw) is absolute perfection. I met a nice woman who ordered the pulled pork and she had no idea she was eating at a vegan restaurant LOL. Will definitely be going back!
