This hotel is in a perfect location, with restaurants, bars, and clubs within walking distance, plus easy access to public transport, including trains and buses. The lobby was spotless, smelled amazing, and created a great first impression. Despite checking in late at around 8:30pm, the staff were welcoming and check in was easy. Our standard room was modern, warm, and clean, with a spacious feel, though the bathroom was a bit tight for two people. The minifeidge had still and sparkling water inside. The only minor inconvenience was the elevator being out of order, but it didn’t impact our stay at all (got my extra steps in lol). I wish the reviews were more positive—we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay again!

We had a lovely 1 night stay here for my partners birthday. The staff were super friendly - especially CJ who helped us at check in and check out. We got 2 free cocktails and a $50 voucher to use at the bar or restaurant which was a nice touch.
The pool and bar area was great. For what we paid it was great value for money and better than stays we have had at more expensive hotels in Sydney.
Location is perfect right in the hub.
Only thing missing would be phones in the room- but we were able to call reception from our phones which was fine. The elevator was out of order also but that wasn’t a problem for us.
Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back.

I hosted an event in the pool bar and couldn’t be more pleased with the service and staff. They were accommodating to every request and allowed us to store the flowers and props the day before the event. Would highly recommend for anyone planning an event.  The pool bar is just stunning

This is a solid 2.5 star hotel. More like a hybrid airbnb than a hotel as you don’t really get hotel standard amenities and service.

Just made up the beds with the same dirty sheets though they refreshed towels daily which was good. Good location, walking distance to most things. Rooms are fairly compact and really you just need to live out of your suitcase, no room to put toiletries anywhere in the bathroom.

Would be nice if they offered a bottle of water. Just two complimentary to get you started. TV didn’t work.

Stayed at the Oxford House Hotel over the weekend - was fair, but there were quite a few issues. Parking is $50 per car, I paid for three parking spaces, which turned out to be in a loading dock—something that was never communicated. If you have a large car, it would never fit. On top of that, they overcharged me for parking, and I only got a refund because I noticed the mistake myself. I had to pull out my calculator.

We stayed in the family room on level one, and while it was spacious, one bathroom shower leaked, and the lounge was covered in stains. The lift is still not working, so we had to carry our own bags up the stairs, and no one even offered to help.

The pool was great, and the bar had a nice vibe, but the DJ couldn’t work out the volume— it was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk. Overall, for the price, I expected better service and maintenance.
