This is a nice pub for a drink. But food? Well, I am writing this review because of their food. This is supposed to be a pizza margherita.... it is not. At all. Look at this picture. I did not expect them to have a real pizza oven to be fair. But the tiny amount of herb on top is not even basil... it looks & tastes like alfalfa. And there is a tiny bit of tomato sauce with no real tomatoes in sight. This is a cheese pizza. Just call it a cheese pizza.
This is really really disappointing considering that I have come here for drinks many times & I love the atmosphere here.
I would have actually been totally fine with eating a cheese pizza if they had labelled it that way on the menu. But to expect a margherita pizza and get a 0-tomato, 0-basil pizza is just a slap in the face to Queen Margherita of Savoy herself.

EDIT: Ok, I changed my review from 3 stars to 4 after coming round here on another day & remembering why I like this place haha. My initial review was maybe too harsh. This pub does have a great atmosphere, whether you prefer to socialize or to find a quiet corner to pull your laptop out. I was pretty choked by the pizza being mislabelled since I was expecting something completely different. But the building, the staff & the vibes are all on point.
And SELLING POINT - this is one of the only pubs I have found in Sydney that has a real IPA on tap. My Canadian alkie arse is not used to these sub 4% Aussie beers... I need a hoppy knock-you-off-your-bum beer!! These guys have a nice hazy on draught.

It is a bar with beautiful and distinctive architecture on the corner of Liverpool Street and George Street. Inside there are 3 floors. The ground floor is a place to chill out with a variety of drinks to choose from. There are many beers on tap. The second floor has a variety of cocktails to choose from, suitable for ladies. The third floor is a must-visit for those who like to dance. Overall, it is a good place, good service, good drinks, and there are separate bars on each floor. Don't miss it for anyone visiting Sydney.

Good food (pulled pork loaded fries & fish & chips), good atmosphere, good drink specials. Love the ‘Tap, order, & pay.’ from the table option, no need to flag down staff, no unnecessary staff trips to the table, fast & efficient, brilliant!  More places need to get on this business model. Trivia night was popular and fun.

Loved the service! Arrived on their trivia night and even though I didn't participate it brought the place alive with people! Food was good although I would suggest those getting medium rare stakes to get rare as I received more of a medium then rare steak.

Pints and drinks are well priced and mixed. Would visit again!

It’s a good spot with decent beer options. Just had some snacks and they were ok. Beer was cold but no happy hours. It’s a decent option right on the street.

Bar Manager kunde inte acceptera att han gjorde ett misstag och fortsatte sedan att reservera oss Service när han inte accepterade sitt misstag. Vi var alla helt acceptabla beskyddare. Gå över vägen till Resch. Så mycket mer vänlig och Service är 10 / 10.

Lammskaftet var smält - i - din - mun mör, och såsen med morötter och selleri var enastående. Vi fick potatismos men jag skulle prova pommes frites nästa gång. Läget var bekvämt för oss. Jag såg någon annan hade nämnt bristande renlighet i badrummen men jag fann dem vara mycket ren. Vänlig server. Trevligt att titta ut genom fönstret och folk tittar på.

Det hade varit en varm dag att gå runt i staden så en kall öl behövdes. En stor pint VB serverades upp på denna ganska trevliga bank förvandlas till en pub. Ölen var så fin att jag var tvungen att ta en andra, innan jag fortsatte till stationen för att få tåget. Kommer att vara i Sydney igen inom kort och kommer förmodligen att titta in igen.

Vi bestämde oss för att gå in och äta frukost och vi blev motvilligt serverade av någon som uppenbarligen inte ville vara där. Ingen uppmärksamhet, kunde i princip inte bry sig mindre. Från foton tror jag att hon kan ha varit manager. Borden var klibbiga och när det gäller herrarnas toaletter kan de bara beskrivas som äckliga. Bör fördömas . Jag önskar att jag hade varit inne innan jag beställde som jag skulle ha gått. Konstigt nog var frukosten rimlig även om korvarna var mycket anemiska och smakade mycket udda. Min fru och vän hade krossad avokado som tydligen var bra men $ 6 för bacon vi kände var en ripoff. Cheferna måste ingjuta mer entusiasm i detta företag, verkligen mycket dålig.

Jag åkte till Three Wise Monkeys den sista fredagen på en fyra veckors affärsresa i oktober ‘ 24 . Jag hade kikat in för något att äta så tog en öl från baren och försökte beställa från scannerkoden på bordet, men fick meddelandet att de slutat servera. Detta var vid 8 : 30 på kvällen. Ta en öl att dricka (och ingen mat! ) Jag blev klar ganska snabbt och bestämde mig för att gå på toa. Som 53-åring föredrar jag att använda toaletten vilket jag gjorde. Efter ungefär 15 sekunder där inne, hördes en hög smäll på dörren och någon skrek att öppna dörren. Med min medlem fortfarande i handen öppnade jag dörren och hittade utkastaren där. Utkastaren anklagade mig för att ha tagit kokain och sa åt mig att sluta. Jag sa till honom att han var löjlig och vände sig om för att sätta mig själv undan vid vilken punkt han slog mig på ryggen och skrek åt mig att komma ut. Jag marscherade genom puben och sparkade ut. Jag demonstrerade på gatan med honom och en annan utkastare vid vilken punkt han har hittat på en historia som säger att han såg mig snorta kokain. Jag demonstrerade igen och bad dem ringa polisen eftersom jag gärna gjorde ett drogtest - men resten av dörrvakterna ignorerade mig bara. Jag återvände till mitt hotell, och berättade för hotellchefen, eftersom jag övervägde att göra en polisanmälan. Jag var väldigt upprörd och blev inte bara förödmjukad på puben utan blev också känslosam mot hotellchefen vilket var ytterligare en förödmjukelse. Jag tror att dörrvakten måste vara väldigt svår att slå en 53-årig 168 cm lång affärsman på ryggen medan han försöker avsluta toaletten. Jag var i slutet av en fyra veckor lång affärsresa, råd om att förbättra kollektivtrafiken - det har varit en bra resa och jag har älskat Sydney, men detta har surat hela min upplevelse.

Kom hit med min make under den långa helgen - det är en rymlig pub med 3 våningar. Inredningen är gammaldags, ser orörd ut sedan den öppnades. Platsen är fantastisk - precis vid huvudremsan i Sydneys livliga CBD. Jag drack ett glas mousserande vin som saknade mousserande. Vi hade jalape o poppers - de såg läckra men smakade medioker.

Den nepalesiska bartendern Bikky är den mest rasistiska bartendern någonsin. Betjäna dina kunder. Var inte rasistisk.

Gick ett par gånger under happy hour. Vin och öl rimligt värde under happy hour. Njut av jalepino poppersna. Kom hit för 10 år sedan och fortfarande samma goda erfarenhet. Kommer att besöka igen i framtiden

Vänliga personal, bra musik, bra läge, rimligt pris och mysigt ställe. Det finns många pubar runt staden men 3 Wise Monkeys är en av mina coola ställen! ! !

Hade fredagen speciell var het och kokta färskt, ingår en liten sallad. Övergripande bra men inte något jag planerar att beställa igen.

Jag gillar verkligen deras rosevin från Nya Zeeland. Skrikande grisrosa. Stora måltider. Rimligt prissatt. God mat. Vänlig personal. Bra pub atmosfär. Jag gillar den höga baren som bord för att avsluta arbetet över ett glas vin när man reser i affärer.
