This is one of my favorite Chinese vegetarian restaurants in Sydney. Each time I have visitors come to visit me, I sure to bring them here to entertain them. They all acknowledged it was the best Chinese vegetarian foods they ever had. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully and thoughtfully presented with an excellent selection choices. The owner was courteous and friendly. The decor was clean and intimate, suitable for friends to get together. I would recommend this restaurant unreservedly to my friends who enjoy vegetarian cuisine.

Delicious food and great service. The only thing I would suggest is that the photo quality of the menu could be improved especially with the amount of options available. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. Overall a positive experience!

First picture looks like micky mouse anyways prices were kind of expensive for what it’s worth, the food was interesting because everything is vegetarian so we had a lot of tofu and other stuff. Deep fried but very oily, serving sizes were quite tiny. Found the dishes to be quite dry but idk

Went for dinner and ordered-
Mi goreng 1J
Crispy bean curd 1D
Soft rice noodle 2J
Steam buns 9A
Curry puff 3A
Poached Chinese broccoli
Plain rice.

We enjoyed the Crispy Bean Curd 1D with Rice, Soft Rice Noodle 2J, and Curry Puff 3A the most. However, the Mi Goreng was like spaghetti, and the Steam Buns 9A were sweet, so did not prefer them. The Poached Chinese Broccoli was particularly disappointing, with an overly salty and strongly flavored sauce.

Absolutely, when we go there next time, we can confidently order our favorite dishes. The best thing about this restaurant is that all the menus are vegetarian, so there's no need to hesitate when choosing what to order.

We arrived at 5 PM when it was empty, but by 6 PM, all the tables were full, the place was crowded, and people were waiting outside.

An amazing fun menu with lots of classics you usually can’t get as a veggie. Mother was a great host, always filling up our water.

Will be returning, seitan, tempeh, mushroom and tofu options for all veggie preferences.

Decent portion sizes but would recommend at least 2 dishes as they are so good.

Mycket tacksam för att ha hittat denna plats. Vid min ankomst restaurangen var 90 % full. Jag satte mig och gick igenom menyn. Jag bad om rekommendationer och fick råd om nudelsoppa och krispiga glutenremsor. De var både stora och rikliga. Njut av upplevelsen.

Maten är enastående. Tjänsten är artig. Vi hade en underbar maträtt med aubergine med smakfull färsk basilika. Tofuen tillagas på många olika sätt och slås samman med läckra grönsaker och olika kryddor. Om du är vegan eller vegetarian är det inte att missa.

Bästa vegan / håna kött jag någonsin har haft i hela mitt liv. Allt smakade legitimt som det märktes. Jag tog ett gäng omnivores och de kunde inte tro att hela restaurangen var vegan / vegetarian med omfattningen av att de skulle kunna bli vegansk om all mat smakade så bra! Alla måltider kom ut och rör varma, super smakliga och stora portioner. Vi beställde så mycket att vi inte kunde klara det hela och vi var supernöjda med allt som beställts. Crispy Gluten och den mongoliska stilen Gluten var de framstående vinnarna! REKOMMENDERA denna plats och har definitivt varit tillbaka flera gånger sedan.

Vi tillbringade bara två dagar i Sydney, åkte dit till lunch den första dagen och det var så bra att vi åkte tillbaka den andra dagen. Det finns ett stort utbud av rätter tillgängliga och alla smakar bra. De ändrar även standardmenyn för dig om du ber dem ändra något, t.ex. g. på dag två frågade min fru om de kunde göra samma maträtt som hon hade dagen innan men utbyta tempeh för tofu - svar - inga problem. Tjänsten är snabb och personalen är så trevlig att det är ett nöje att äta där. Det irriterar mig att läsa en annan recension om att den är dyr eftersom den inte är det, det är ganska rimligt. Vi älskade det!

Jag har kommit hit i 25 år när jag är i Sydney och aldrig tänkt att granska platsen förrän nu. Jag älskar smaker och texturer i maten, och utbudet av val på menyn är munnen. "Crispy Bean Curd" (tofu, shiitake svamp och grönsaker i en vacker sås) är min favorit måltid någonstans i Australien. En trevlig plats med ett bra läge, jag tror inte att det behöver en uppdatering. Jag skulle älska att stanna som det är för alltid.

Tid att kämpa mot kolesterol och hjälpa planeten. Jag är inte en vegitarian men jag gillar det aldrig efter att ha ätit på Mother Chu. Lite trångt men var är inte i budgeten vänliga räddning som av A of Sydney. Jag är inte säker på vad "gluten" på menyn var men det smakade delicouse. Hade också den krispiga soyen som var som en s så mycket och peppar bläckfisk skålen. Vi kommer definelty vara tillbaka.

Dined här som en fest av två. Rätter är mycket skickligt gjorda och fulla av smak. Personalen var alla underbara. Icke-veganska älskare av kvalitet taiwanesisk mat kommer att övertygas! Mitt råd är att komma hit med en stor grupp så att du kan prova ett brett utbud av rätter. Tack mamma Chu!

Vegetarisk alternativ är fantastiska och maten bättre. Platsen behöver en uppdatering men låt inte det skjuta upp dig. Utmärkt betjäning.

Förtjust att hitta en helt vegetarisk meny på en gata fylld med Wagyu biff alternativ. Detta är ett enkelt och ärligt utrymme som serverar stora, välsmakande portioner som verkligen slog platsen.

Rimligt bra vegetarisk restaurang. Avokadosoppa var inte så bra, hade bitar av avokado istället för att blandas och jag fick inte riktigt avokados smak genom. Nudlarna var ok men inte så speciella.

Höjdpunkten var de gröna bönorna med sojaskivor. Så läcker. Stekt ris var bra. Bra service och trevlig atmosfär. Lite dyr men värt det. Ser fram emot att försöka resten av menyn!

När vi besöker Sydney från interstate vi har en måltid på Mother Chu och har gjort det i många år. Utmärkt kinesisk vegetarisk mat, rimligt prissatt, även om det nu verkar vara lite mer salt än tidigare - kanske på grund av våra åldrande tungor eller förändrade äta vanor genom åren

Jag tyckte att det var lite dyr jämfört med maten som serveras här och de andra restaurangerna. Men ett stort urval av vegetarisk mat, massor att välja mellan och en mycket fyllig måltid. Utmärkt betjäning!

Jag skulle ge denna plats ett betyg av 1 om det inte var för de vänliga människor som arbetar på platsen. Den är antingen för salt, för söt eller för ingenting.

Stannade i mot Moder Chu's för en vardagskväll middag. Ganska fullt även på ett tidigt stadium på kvällen. God mat, vänlig personal - fick oss att känna oss som att vi var stamgäster. Önskar att vi kunde gå lite oftare kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka.
