This is Nobu Gochiso Lunch - ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI AND SASHIMI.
Our reservation is at 2pm but this is their spread that welcome us… mostly empty dish plates.. or some with 3 or 4 sushi’s on it. I have high expectations for this as you already can tell but I am just disappointed for this first ever visit. Where is the Fresh Selection of Sashimi?? there is No Fresh salmon sashimi either that’s been advertised? Where are those taco shells tuna/salmon? Nothing. They served us with a bowl of miso soup that complementary but it was salty. And their small pieces of dessert like bite size with 2 or 3 kinds only. They served us with 1 of each only as it’s not in the buffet (Which they said, the dessert is also AYCE) When we asked for chocolate macaron the waitress said, “let me check if there is still left”. We have been dining at Epicurean a few times, 5 or 6 times maybe and it’s always been the best. Here at Nobu Gochiso the Oyster was good and I think thats all I love about there.. and thank you for my birthday candle. So sad it’s just did not make me/us happy. Btw the prices is Adult $98 and Child $70 (just turned 6).

We had an amazing all-you-can-eat dining experience at Nobu Sydney. The sushi and sashimi were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted. While the selection wasn’t huge, everything offered was of exceptional quality and prepared to perfection.
The service was outstanding, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. If you’re looking for a premium all-you-can-eat Japanese dining experience, Nobu Sydney is a fantastic choice!

Loved the service. I wish there was more food variety but ultimately I think it's really good value. Great quality ingredients. It seems the team were running out of food but give it a short time and pace yourself it will be fine. Gorgeous place to have lunch with friends or family! The popcorn prawns were delightful. The oysters were really good with a choice of sauce. Looking forward to coming back! The staff are are the best!

Crown Sydney - that gorgeous glass tower in Barangaroo, home to the famous NOBU Japanese fine dining.

So it was, my table of 4 were welcomed with a lovely warmth & happy to see us greeting, seated within minutes although would have preferred to have not been smack bang in the centre when all these window views were available.

Definitely took advantage of the Buffett style when it came to the Oysters which were just so fresh & creamy. The Sushi was quite dry so after our 1st try we opted to leave it alone. The Sashimi although made up for it - twas delicious as were the other options to enjoy.

Definitely enjoyed our time & the food so all in all a very happy lunch.

Fine dining Japanese palette.

Exquisite, well-presented, and delicious food (as shown in images attached).

Staff were welcoming and took care of us throughout our wonderful dinner experience. Two staff members were kind enough to take our picture during and after our meals.

Decorations and colour scheme truly lifted the fine dining experience.

En besvikelse upplevelse. Inte alls som Melbourne när det gäller mat eller atmosfär. Eftersom vi har varit på Nobu Melbourne några gånger vi är bekanta med menyn och hade varit glada att prova Sydney. Vi satt ett stort bord för bara 2 av oss i mitten av rummet. Bordet hade passat bättre för ett sällskap på 8 personer men ändå. Vi hade en härlig utsikt över ett smutsigt bord med föregående matställes rester som förblev så under hela tiden vi var där. Kungsfisken vi beställde var superkall liksom tallriken vilket får oss att tro att den var förberedd. Inte när sushi är ditt anspråk på berömmelse? Den krämiga räkrätten (som normalt är vår favorit) serverades i en sorglig liten plastskål med vissen sallad under och slumpmässig svamp (varför? ) ovanpå. Wagyubiffen hade ingen smak. Om du ska servera den utan såsekt så krydda den gärna med något, vad som helst för att få den att smaka och se bättre ut än den grå gamla biten oälskat kött vi fick. Den krispiga ristonfisken var definitivt krispig. Om krispigt betyder överkokt. Ännu en favorit misslyckas i Sydney. Kom igen Nobu i Sydney, det finns för många andra alternativ du behöver för att lyfta ditt spel

Jag ville dela min senaste erfarenhet på Nobu Sydney, som tyvärr inte alls motsvarade förväntningarna. Min familj reste från Montreal, Quebec, till Sydney för att fira min dotters 16-årsdag — en milstolpe som hon hade drömt om att fira på Nobu. I början av vår kväll, tjänsten var enastående. Jag informerade både värdinnan och vår server, Joshua, att det var ett speciellt tillfälle, och jag noterade det också i vår bokning. Inledningsvis kändes allt lovande. Vissa rätter var utmärkta, medan andra inte var i vår smak — men den verkliga frågan började när vi försökte ta itu med dessa farhågor. Vår server, Joshua, försvann i ungefär 45 minuter, vilket gör att vi känner oss helt övergivna. Trots mina försök att flagga ner någon var jag till slut tvungen att lämna min plats och aktivt söka efter hjälp. När lagförslaget kom — utan att så mycket som nämna tillfället — var vi djupt besvikna. Det som borde ha varit en minnesvärd och festlig kväll förvandlades till en frustrerande upplevelse präglad av ouppmärksam service och bristande omsorg. Som tillägg till min frustration fyllde jag i en enkät från Crown Hotels som begärde uppföljning - men efter tre veckor har ingen hört av sig. För en restaurang av Nobus kaliber – och de betydande kostnader som följer med att äta där – är denna servicenivå helt enkelt oförlåtlig. Jag hade hoppats på en oförglömlig kväll för att fira min dotters milstolpe, men istället blev vi förbisedda och besvikna. Jag hoppas verkligen att ledningen tar denna feedback på allvar och förbättrar både sin servicestandard och sin lyhördhet för gästernas problem.

Jag kan inte fatta hur dålig denna restaurang är. Vi satte våra kostkrav vid tidpunkten för bokningen, men de behandlade det nästan omöjligt begäran. Servitören var långsam, det fanns ingen i receptionen och vi fick vänta så länge, jag kände verkligen att vi inte var välkomna. Maten var ordnad ur japanskt perspektiv, bara inget speciellt.

Kom hit för min mans födelsedag / 12 års jubileum och tillbringade över $ 900. De flyttade vårt bord och glömde bort oss efter att vi beställde en flaska vin och spenderade extra på mat. De gav oss inte någon ökengåva och det var överlag MYCKET bråttom. Maten var utsökt men vi är mycket besvikna på servicen.

Jag har ätit på Nobu platser över hela världen, inklusive flera besök på Nobu Sydney, det är min favorit restaurang för alla fester, och jag har aldrig haft en så fruktansvärd upplevelse som jag gjorde strax före jul. Med tanke på den höga standard Nobu är känd för, var detta verkligen chockerande. Jag beställde en hummernudlarrätt, bara för att få två små bitar hummer begravd i en hög med smaklös svamp. Den var helt obalanserad och saknade de delikata smaker jag kommit att förvänta mig av Nobu. Dessutom var grönsakstempuran inte ens ordentligt täckt i smet – den såg ut och smakade som om den hade tillagats av en amatör. Återigen var det bara svamp - är att allt de hade kvar i sitt kök. För att göra saken värre, blev jag av misstag debiterad för en hummerrätt som jag aldrig beställde. Även om misstag kan hända, skulle jag ha förväntat mig mycket bättre uppmärksamhet på detaljer från en restaurang av denna kaliber. Vad som gjorde detta ännu mer förbryllande var att restaurangen inte ens var upptagen, så det fanns ingen ursäkt för dålig kvalitet på mat eller service. På det hela taget var detta en mycket nedslående upplevelse, och jag hoppas verkligen att Nobu Sydney tar itu med dessa frågor. För en restaurang med ett så starkt globalt rykte och min favorit i Sydney var denna måltid en katastrof.

Fruktansvärd service, hemsk mat och alldeles för dyrt! $ 30 för en cocktail och väntetiden var 45 minuter! ! ! $ 30 för en champagne det var platt och glaset var tomt. Den svarta torsken var underkokt. Denna restaurang var top notch tillbaka i dagen skulle inte gå tillbaka!

Wow. . . . . Jag har ingen aning om vad all hype handlar om. Jag är inte säker på hur sittplatser fungerar men vi satt i rum " 2 " och det är som en food court, om jag spenderar $ 400 skulle jag vilja sitta i främre området (rum 1 ) be om rum 1 när du bokar. Hela upplevelsen var en besvikelse, min familj var klädd till nior som vi trodde att detta var en high end resturant och det fanns kunder som bär rippade jeansshorts till middag? ? måste det väl finnas en klädkod. Wagyu tacos var stor men bortsett från dem vår lokala japenese är tio gånger bättre. Jag skulle inte bry mig om att gå igen även om det var gratis!

Vad mer kan jag säga om Nobu? Det sviker aldrig. . maten är exceptionell, alltid bästa kvalitet. Det enda negativa jag kan säga är att jag föredrar atmosfären i Nobu i Melbourne. . det är mer inbjudande. Nobu i Sydney är i ett riktigt stort rum som känns kallt men maten var ändå utsökt.

Enastående meny med signaturen Black Cod i Miso bara himmelskt. Vi hade också tempura hummer som också var utmärkt. Utmärkt utsikt över hamnen toppade upplevelsen.

Vi tänkte att vi måste prova Nobu i Sydney som vi älskar Melbournes. Det gjorde ingen besviken. Servicen är bättre i Melbourne men det var inte dåligt alls. Bara de finare detaljerna. Kostnaden är massiv för dålig kvalitet du får och dessutom parkeringen är noll på plats annat än Betjänad som kostade mig $ 130. 00 i 90 minuter på en veckonatt. Jag skulle inte rekommendera och kommer inte tillbaka.
