Delicious gluten free and vegan Mexican food. We got the banquet menu which had a variety of items like tacos with a variety of fillings, deliciously seasoned corn, and rice bowls. The cauliflower was so flavourful and the portion size was absolutely massive. Both taco flavours were great, the miso eggplant had an interesting umami flavour.

Absolutely amazing experience at Bad Hombres! The chips and guacamole were fresh and flavorful, the charred corn had a delicious smoky taste, but the true standouts were the mushroom birria and the quesadilla, you cannot visit without trying them. The seasoning is spot on, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. The staff truly go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. Highly recommend!

Wow!! What amazing food. All vegan, all gluten free - but no compromise on flavour. It was fantastic as I am celiac, and no worries at all about cross contamination. The crème brûlée was delicious, as well as the cauliflower tacos 🌮 10/10, will definitely be back.

Really delicious vegan Mexican food and great cocktails. We asked our waitress for recommendations which I'm glad we did as we didn't realise they were well known for their Birria mushroom tacos (which were delicious). Good restaurant for sharing a few plates. Cocktail-wise we ordered two of the Rosalinda (chilli margarita) and Paloma Royale which were both really refreshing. Food-wise we ordered the Birria tacos, two 'fish' tacos, the 'tuna' tostada and the vegetable/mushroom skewers, all of which were delicious. All of this came to ~$160, $80 each which felt pretty reasonable for the amount and quality of food. The staff were really friendly too. If you are visually impaired this restaurant might be a bit challenging as it's very dark!

My favourite Mexican place in Sydney. It's vegan, but full of flavour. Their tortilla chips and tacos are all freshly made in-house. Everything is full of flavour. This time, I got to enjoy the 'tuna' tostada, mushroom taco, bowl of nachos and their quesadilla. All very tasty, even my meat loving friends don't miss the meat. Service here is very efficient, professional and not intrusive. Will definitely be back again.

Den här restaurangen finns i Darlinghurst nu på Oxford Street. Detta var min 3: e besök som mina första 2 var fantastiska. Jag pratade upp det här stället och för att vara ärlig min måltid ikväll saknade lyster. Den hade mindre topping på mina Nachos och mina chips var på gränsen till gamla. Min margarita var inte densamma (bara för söt) . Jag blev besviken. Bara inte lika bra som de senaste 2 gångerna.

Vi gjorde en bokning via telefonen till nio, men vi fick inte höra att köket stängde 9 15. När vi kom dit sa de till oss att köket stängdes snart men vad vi än skulle vilja beställa skulle vi kunna. När vi tar emot maten fick vi det riktigt snabbt, som två minuter, det linda gav oss intrycket att det var super förkokt. Vi beställde nachos och enchiladas att dela, nachos var bra men enchiladapreparatet kändes inte friskt alls så vi slutade inte det. Vi var inte nöjda så vi ville beställa något annat men de sa till oss att köket var stängt, när det inte var sista samtal, och de berättade i början att vi skulle serveras ändå eftersom de accepterade vår bokning.

Min veganvän besökte Sydney och vi planerade en middagssession för två dagar sedan. Börjar på Gin Lane i Central Park. . . Vi bläddrade i våra veganalternativ i närheten. Bad Hombres i Surry Hills var vårt val och vi gick upp på en onsdag kväll omkring klockan 7:30. Bokade ut! Lyckligtvis satt vi oss inom 15 minuter. Jag nöjde mig med den bakade potatisen (kan inte hitta den på den aktuella online-menyn) och det var SENSATIONAL. Jag betygsätter det som min tredje bästa måltid bakom en sydafrikansk inspirerad biff i Queenstown, Nya Zeeland och en rå tonfisk- och avokadodisk på Miyabi, North Hobart, Tasmanien (från tidigare ägare). Min enda kritik är att platsen är mycket bullrig på grund av bristen på bullerundertryckningsytor. Ta ditt ljud - avbryta hörlurar eller var beredd att skrika. Högt rekommenderad!

Vegansk mexikansk mat i en fantastisk atmosfär och retro litet utrymme precis vid huvudfarleden. Personalen var stor, maten var fantastisk och glad att se att det finns fler växtbaserade platser dyker upp runt platsen. Också trevligt att se borden är uppsatta med tillräckligt med utrymme att gå igenom platsen utan att krabba går i sidled. Denna plats är barnvänlig och öppen från 17.00 med bokningar som kan göras online. Kommer tillbaka till denna plats nästa gång i Sydney. Fortsätt med det goda arbetet och vänligen låt inte kvaliteten upphöra.

Jag är inte vegan så jag var lite orolig, men det behövdes inte - allt var läckert. Det var bra värde och välsmakande. Margaritas var också bra. Jag rekommenderar blomkålen och aubergine-tacos.

Jag fick mitt besök och maten jag hade på Bad Hombres. Jag beställde nachos som jag skulle rekommendera. De hade guacamole, pico, svarta bönor och två typer av veganskost - alla de yummyness du letar efter när du beställer nachos. Och en bra del storlek också. För min huvudsakliga beställde jag aubergine / ananas / miso tacos. Det är en del av två små tacos. Och medan jag tyckte att de var intressanta, fanns det något om kombinationen av smaker som jag bara inte älskade. Så jag skulle inte beställa dem igen och skulle istället prova något annorlunda nästa gång - men kanske smakprofilen skulle passa din smak. Det finns många välsmakande ljudalternativ på menyn som jag återkommer igen och fortsätter längs menyn. Jag hittade priset vara rimligt för en kvällsmåltid och personalen var vänliga och uppmärksamma. Jag skulle rekommendera att ha middag här om du är på humör för vegansk mexikansk mat. Njut av.

Hade en yummy vegan mexikansk middag här med min dotter. Förrätten var lite varmt och spicey men delningen plattan hade cashew kräm och var helt läckra.

Gick till Bad Hombres för första gången för några veckor sedan och blev inte besviken. Hela menyn ser fantastisk ut, vi valde att dela nachos och alambre stor tallrik - det var allt helt läckert och personal erbjöd sig att ta fram fler gratis taco skal som ofta saknas på mexikanska restauranger. Kan inte vänta med att komma tillbaka och försöka mer av menyn.

Gick till dåliga hombres för första gången, njöt verkligen av det goda. Kundtjänst var snabb och fantastisk. Disken kom ut på mycket kort tid efter beställning. Mat presenterades bra. Trots att jag är en köttätare tyckte verkligen om maten. Priset var rimligt. Skulle rekommendera!

Dålig Hombres är en väldigt angenäm anläggning och det skulle vara lätt att sakna. Men se svårt för det som jag föreställer mig att det är ett Vegans paradis. Det är inte på något sätt en 5-stjärnig restaurang men de låtsas inte vara. Tänk på middag på ett vänskapshus, hemtrevligt och intimt. Dålig Hombres rekommenderades till oss som min besökande dotter är vegetarian. Inte vara vegan eller vegetarian oss fann vi fortfarande maten mycket välsmakande och fyllning. Ett stort omnämnande för äggplanta tortillan. Vänta personalen har en detaljerad kunskap om varje menyalternativ och är glada att diskutera dina krav.

Bra att ha en vegansk restuarant och vara säker på att beställa något på menyn. Men skulle ha föredragit mer grönsaker och grönsaker. Bra värde! Utmärkt personal! Men hatade stolarna och pallarna gjorda av metall, för kalla.

Vi bokade en måndagskväll för att fira min dotters födelsedag. Vi var alla mycket glada att prova denna restaurang som vi älskar mexikansk mat och vår dotter hade gått vegan. Vilken besvikelse! Vi kom fram till en nära restaurang och ingen svarade när vi försökte ringa. Extremt oprofessionellt, speciellt sedan det här har hänt med andra människor!

Men tyvärr, men menyn läser mycket bra, saknade alla men en maträtt helt helt okej smak och tjänsten lämnade mycket att önska. När vi först sattes servitrisen dubbel kontrolleras, ganska nedslående, "du vet att det här är alla veganer och glutenfria, eller hur? "Är ja, typ av restaurangens hela punkt, nej? Så i alla fall beställer vi ett par margaritas som kom vattnet, svagt och sämre än vad jag kunde göra hemma. Aldrig en bra start för en mexikansk restaurang! Vi bad artigt om ett extra skott att dela upp mellan våra drycker och de förde oss över två, vilket var helt bra av oss som, och när vi betalade upptäckte vi faktiskt att vi väldigt generöst inte var betalda för heller. Mat - Wise vi beställer tortilla chips & guacamole, aubergine och karamelliserad miso tacos, sötpotatis tacos och pumpa & Kale quesadilla. Guacamolen hade uppenbarligen kommit rakt ur kylskåpet eftersom det var iskallt och därför smakade inte någonting. Aubergine tacos var ok men smakerna var inte alls balanserade. Den alltför söta, krispiga karamelliseringen behövde balanseras med antingen kryddor eller lime, men som det var, smakade det fullt på efterrätt - stil sött. Quesadillaen var en mycket välsmakande, mycket tjock hunk av grillad pumpa. Inte riktigt något annat. Inga mexikanska smaker. . . bara en fin bit av grillad pumpa. Den sötpotatis tacos var helt där den är på. Det här är den enda maträtten som faktiskt hade lite smak - smokey chipotle, zingy lime, färsk koriander - yum! Men två teeny små tacos ut ur hela måltiden var definitivt inte tillräckligt för att lösa in denna plats. Bar sitter vid - på ett giss skulle jag säga golvschefen? - hela restaurangens tjänst verkade drivas av en ung tjej, med de andra två killarna tar selfies (nej, verkligen) och kör den udda plattan när de absolut behövde. Bisarr tjänst för en upptagen lördagskväll. Jag menar, njut av var du jobbar, tack! Men att ignorera kunder som står vid disken och väntar på att betala för att en av er tar selfies och den andra är texting. . . ? Super konstigt attityd för hospo. Jag är verkligen besviken på Bad Hombres, det är inte någonstans jag ska gå tillbaka till och definitivt inte någonstans jag kunde rekommendera.

Bokade en reservation för 6:30 på en onsdag. Visas tio minuter tidigt till en stängd restaurang. Tog en promenad runt kvarteret och kom tillbaka, stängde fortfarande men med musikspel. Försökte ringa men inget svar, röstmeddelandet begärde att inga meddelanden lämnades heller. En man gick ut från insidan, hävdade att han inte arbetade här men den restaurangen stängdes. Emailed att samla in tydlighet på varför de accepterade en bokning för en stängd restaurang, utan något svar. Skulle inte rekommendera.
