Some of the  security guards are extremely jealous and some seem to have some resentments, not letting people in just because they thought you were with someone behind who had a loose shirt . I have been going to the establishment for 10 years every week. You get new security guards that have no idea and your manager seems to listen only to beautiful girls.

OMG this place is amazing, service second to none!! We had a beautiful meal next door at Mr Wongs, then I still had a half of bottle of wine to go, they offered to bring it up to our room at The Establishment, shower was heaven, bath amazing , yes there is slight noise through the night, but you are staying at one of the bustling night time areas.. the staff were all polite and helpful, this will now become our go to place to stay when visiting Sydney!! Xx

Extremely uncomfortable stay out air conditioning was broken we informed they staff was told it was working but when we came back to the room it was still broken was offered a portable unit that was not adequate to fix the issue. To top it all off the rooms are not sound proofed and there is a night club upstairs that pumps music and scrams and shouts from customers until the early hours of the morning.

We had the best stay. After a crazy day, we arrived to find we’d been upgraded to the penthouse. The staff were excellent and the location was perfect. Thanks so much for having us.

Overall not great unfortunately. I kinda see what they were trying to do with a somewhat quirky approach to accommodation, sort cold girls at reception, and an unbearable amount of incense at the foyer...

But it it doesn't work.

Ultimately people want to get a good night rest, and that's where the focus should be.

The rooms are not even remotely sound proofed and we could hear evry single movement down the alley. Trucks coming in, people yelling, garbage collection, ... all of it from very early in the morning.

We could hear EVERY single step the people upstairs from us took... They seemed to also be moving furniture!!?

When we mentioned it to the reception upon leaving, we simply got a short 'sorry about that'...

Location is the only good this about this, but not worth the price tag.
