Great whisky list, one of the best whisky bars in the city. The only thing I would say is that the bartender are a little funny. I ordered a whisky and they didn’t have enough for one shot so I ordered a different one and then I asked if I can have  the first one as well (thinking they would just give it to me) but they charged me full price for it (I guess it is cultural) 😂

This was my first time coming to Baxter Inn, it was a recommendation from a friend who knows his bars in the city. A bar located downstairs, absence of any sunlight. Cozy for an evening I suppose! They have a nice atmosphere in general.

They provide servings of pretzels as a snack without any additional charge, something I feel like isn't provided for most bars! I got myself a Hush Hush which is a fruity cocktail, nice and refreshing just like how I imagined a mango-ish flavour. Service was great and friendly! I liked how they stacked their bottles behind the counter too.

Fantastic whiskey bar with wonderful ambiance and very friendly bar tenders. Their variety is just huge, and the bartenders will happily help you to find your favorite drop. I had a whiskey, which I had never heard about it. It was 52% ABV and still went down like a cocktail. I will definitely visit again and recommend you to go if you're a whiskey lover!

Hands down, Top-5 bar in the world for me. The speakeasy vibe is nothing compared to the whiskey menu, and the IPA on tap was also incredible. Love that the staff would make recommendations based on region / your taste / price - and it's a nice touch with the real candles and really dim lighting. Ended up going three times over two trips to Sydney and will absolutely be back.

One thing I'll mention - go early. 6 PM seemed to be great in terms of seating options as well as the availability of the staff to chat, Friday night (unsurprisingly) you couldn't even get in at 10. Something for everyone here - a real gem.
