Super cool under ground dumpling Bar. The drinks are good. The sale was delicious. The various dumplings I tried were also very good and tasted great. The service is fast.
The red lanterns and atmosphere definitely suit this place and match the ambience. A fun place to visit for a quick meal and drinks with friends.

Went in on a Wednesday evening in summer without a booking for two people but were able to sit at the bar, which was okay. The Aloe Aloe cocktail was delightful if a bit pricey and the dumplings and food came out quickly. Asked for Wi-Fi password and they didn’t know it.
We ordered prawn, pork and veggie and also ordered karage and yakitori. The dumplings were a little dry but I liked the labels on the steamers. Overall a cute opium den vibe (everything is lit red) and if you stay long enough in the restroom you could learn Cantonese with them instructional audio playing. It was cute, and nice for a quick bite and bespoke cocktail for a small group.

Had two cocktails there. Didn’t try any food as it was a hop-in and hop-out kinda thing. Cocktails are ok, they are also red like the venue. Haha. Good service. Walked-in on a Saturday night at 8.30pm and got seated right away.

Went to uncle Ming’s as a first night out back in Sydney for some drinks and a light snack. We got the sharing pot of alcohol which says it feels 3-4 people. In our opinion it was more of a 2 person drink (the cups given were just small) and the drink tasted of only pineapple juice with no notes of lime and hibiscus as it was advertised.

The waiter we had was also not the most welcoming as he took a really long time to take our order and when I had asked which dumplings he would recommend out of the chicken, pork, or vegetable he responded with “whatever you want”. He then never really came back to the table so we had to flag him down when we wanted to order more. I also saw him have a rude interaction to a couple that had moved seats without his knowledge where he visibly rolled his eyes and said “we already cleaned that table” then rushed away. I could sense he made the couple uncomfortable which threw off the vibes of our whole section.

I will say the dumplings we did get were good though! The sesame drink was amazing! Never had a drink like that before. But I would skimp out on the pots of alcohol.

words can not describe the wonderfulness of this place. i really enjoyed 2hrs of dinner and cocktails at this bar. attentive service. however the food was not really excellent but they did a great job in decorating the space and serving customers. i love this place, highly recommend
