A club that is always open without attitude. I needed to have some dinner between clients one night and most places were closed between Christmas and New Year. A quick meal is all I needed. Yes, they have a small bistro that has either Australian or Chinese meals. The spicy prawns salad with rice... was quite hot, but it was delicious. The bar was open. But just water for me tonight! Oh dear! The atmosphere is very comfortable and quiet. Big high lounge chairs to read for just relax. I also love that they do have a courtesy bus for their members.

I'd heard the advertising. The friendly club. Well the Epping Club certainly delivers on the promise. I met up with a girlfriend for dinner. After we had both had problems parking anywhere within cooee of the club we shared the brilliant idea to become members which entitle you to park under the building. Membership was inexpensive and became cost neutral with vouchers etc. I was so impressed by the staff at the membership counter, as well as throughout the club. These staff were not just going through the motions, they actually showed warmth & interest in the patrons. Been here a couple of times since joining. Always the same friendliness throughout the place. And, of course, you are only a short stroll from my tax agent, my financial planner and a massage place I've been told about!

The function side of the club the food is generally of good quality. The AV can be a bit patchy I'm not sure what's the cause but it was disappointing. The staff were quite engaging with the interaction .

The Epping RSL Club is a popular watering hole for the young and oldies alike. The young like it for the cheap(er) drinks, the sports bar and the odd live band that plays there whilst the old like it for the cheap(er) drinks, the sports bar and the array of poker machines that litter the gaming area. They're not too dissimilar the young and old! Apart from the above there is a nice cafe and eating area plus a courtyard that looks over the street. There are also several function rooms upstairs and is quite popular for anything like birthday parties, work functions and many a wedding. Whether you're a young spring chicken or an oldie who is young at heart, I'm sure you'll find something to appease at The Epping RSL Club.

Food in the restaurant is overpriced and small portions. The same meals can be had at Epping Hotel across the street for $10 cheaper. They advertised halfprice cocktails on the sign above the bar from 5pm to 7pm on Fridays. When I ordered, the barperson said the sign was wrong and it has changed to 8pm to 10pm. The club looks impressive but the bar area is not functional. Someone from the management of the club obviously went to Las Vegas and came back with the most tacky design possible - lighting that changes colour but gives you a headache; oversized chairs that take the strength of Sampson to move; and not enough seating in peak times (obviously so that you move into the gaming area).
