Very nice beach for swimming and snorkelling, came in the morning. Minimal low waves and wildlife was buzzing. You can swim to the nearby bay and beach and there’s restaurants next to the beach

I feel like I'm swimming in the Mediterranean, not the ocean. If you have swimming goggles, you can watch the sea creatures while swimming. The beach is mostly flat and waveless.

Great walk from Manly beach and back with plenty of wildlife and artwork along the way. Protected beach with scuba and snorkeling available. Cafe at the beach.

My absolute favourite beach in Sydney. Gentle waves, easily family friendly, perfect for snorkelling, especially if you're lucky enough to spot the big blue gropers.

I love coming here as a walk from Manly Beach.

You need to arrive early in the morning to ensure you get a parking spot.  I personally would pay the $10/hr parking and top up when needed but that's for me and the convenience when you have a big family of little kiddies. Otherwise, street parking is 2 hours at a time.
