Food was as good as charlies penis. i think he busted all over my mayo and thats wy is was so good. i also found a mysterious white sticky liquid in my chicken which was amazing. keep it up Charlie!

Agree with the other reviewers, place is OK. The burgers were yummy! except there was way too much bread vs meat. I had the Portuguese chicken and felt like the chicken could have been more. Great local place, has a variety of food that's ready to go, great to take away food for the family if you can't be bothered cooking dinner. Otherwise its not somewhere i would travel to unless i'm in the area, starving and need food asap.

This is a favorite with my family for a quick no-hassle meal. There is a wide variety for every tastes. I love the Thai chicken. It is a delicious roasted chicken with a nice, spice Thai sauce on it. There are plenty of meat dishes, salads, sides, etc. The two down sides are the prices seem high (yet the servings are generous) and in cold weather, the doors are open and it is not a comfortable place to sit. I highly recommend for take out or during warm weather.

Came here for lunch and have to say this place is just OK. There's a pretty big variety of food in terms of salads, different styles of prepared chicken and so on...it's like big and fancier chicken shop. The food is alright, I wasn't blown away by the chicken burger because the bread to chicken ratio was heavily in favour of bread. Price point is alright, service is quick, but food is just OK.

Typical chargrill Charlie's great food, extensive selection and great service. But be prepared to be shocked at the price and quantity of the chips, $5.90 for a Medium bag that won't satisfy a decent adult, for a family of 4 we have to buy 2 x large @ $7.40 each so after a chicken at $17 half your spend is chips. Being the cheapest to manufacture it's poor form to be stingy on chips. Excellent tasting chickens though! Your chickens gets you 2 stars, seriously look at you chips policy.

This is my fav take out place. The staff are friendly and the food is great. Love the variety and the changing of the menu daily. Always clean and prompt service with a smile. The price is also not too bad. Could be a bit cheaper. But great food. Good for a surprize dinner or lunch every now and again !!!

Chargrill charlies continues to disappoint me with their lack of care and services. I ordered a chilli mayo sauce for a whole extra dollar. I love chilli mayo so it was worth the extra money. When I drove home, i realised (to my disbelief) that there was no chilli mayo in my bag. Not good. Not only that they have done this multiple times with whole bags of chips not being put in bags, and charging me twice on uber eats. Chargrill charlies im not angry. Im just disappointed.

I went to Chargrill Charlies for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon before heading to the beach. Upon my arrival I was impressed by the range of food available. Unsure as to whether or not they would accept eftpos I asked a staff member who was attending to some mopping and asked whether they took eftpos. I was taken aback by the rude nature of the staff member when, without making eye contact he uttered little more than a grunt acknowledging that they did in fact take eftpos. The staff member who looked similar to Bernard Tomic and spoke with what sounded like a European accent made me feel as though I had just asked him for his firstborn. I then tried to move past this experience and select my lunch only to find the staff member had more rudeness install for me. When reading the menu he then made his way behind the counter and said towards my friend and I "your looking very serious". At this point I was not sure whether I had herd him right. I said "sorry what was that?", he repeated "your looking very serious today" unsure as to what this increasingly rude staff member was getting at, I replied "that makes two of us", by this point things were getting strange. He then said "I'm not very serious, you must be hungry, hungrier than me" I replied "Yes I am that is why I'm buying lunch". After this little verbal volleyball match the Neanderthal like staff member didn't even take my order and left it for another staff member who was very polite to do so. I must admit the whole incident was somewhat entertaining, however, a part of me did consider jumping the counter and forcefully inserting his Bernard Tomic looking European head into the deep fryer. The whole experience to Chargrill Charlies in St Ives left a sour taste in my mouth and I would not recommend it to anyone unless of course you aren't "looking very serious" then you may have a more inviting experience.
