Look. All and all a job half done is a job half done. Kinda like telling your Mauritian apprentice to measure out 60cm on a piece of wood and he/she stops at the 30cm mark. In other words "I'm a half empty man". A tale from my experience: I looked up at the moderately confusing menu and picked the noodles that had: next to it. Then as the plate arrived infront of me I drove my metallic fork into the flatbed noodles. Shortly after I careened back into my wooden stool in repine. At this point I knew that the chilli levels were far from acceptable. Not long after tasting the meal I found myself adding the restaurants chilli to feel the burn in my jaw and bumhole, similar to the one I had on Oxford street at Thaiwithabox

I discovered that one of the biggest problems in going to Bondi on a sunny Sunday afternoon is that everybody else seems to have the same idea, so when I decided to have some lunch I discovered that I was going to have a really long wait to get some food. Fortunately, as I continued to wander around I discovered this little place hidden just up Curlewis Ave, so I decided to give it a go. I have to say that I was pretty impressed, since it was cheap, quick, and they made a pretty decent green curry. What makes them stand out though is that you can design your own Thai dish, and they even have instructions on the wall that show you how to do it. The best thing about the place though was unlike the other places in Bondi, this place wasn't crowded.

Great eat-in or takeaway Thai joint in Bondi. No frills here, pick what noodle or rice dish you want and go nuts. Pick the kind of noodle and sauce and whatever else your heart may desire. Not really a place for a first date or anything, just a place to get a casual meal solo or with some friends or a partner you're very comfortable with. Portions are surprisingly massive too.

Being a big fan of Thai in a Box at Burwood, I decided to try out their Bondi store. No two stores of the same name, could have been more apart. I was quite disappointed. The place looked old and poorly maintained. They mixed up my order with my friend's order and I got the wrong noodle or the wrong sauce, whichever way you look at it. The food was not bad though. Choosing from a 'design your own' menu can be fun, but I have found my favourite combination and sadly I wasn't able to enjoy that. If you are trying Thai in a Box for the first time, skip this place and try it elsewhere. They also didn't have the cute carton or Box to take away food in, (which is the sole reason I enjoy thai in a box), but instead offer the regular plastic containers.

Our favourite Thai restaurant in Bondi Beach. We have been coming here for nearly tree years. The style of restaurant allows you to pick and choose from proteins, veggies, sauces, seasoning and finally noodles - but to be honest the best food here is found by ordering straight off the menu. Telling these guys how to do their job is rather like rocking up at a concert and giving the musicians advice on what key to use. Pad Kee Mao and Green Curry are our faves!

The service is pretty quick at this restaurant, particularly when it isn't too busy. The Thai food is alright, and the portions are quite big - so good value for money. You can choose the type of noodle or rice you would like and the meat, seafood or vegetable option. I ordered the beef pad thai, which was alright, but the beef was quite tough.

The food was delicious!!! Maybe management changed because the service was fine and they didn't mess up my order. They now have the box containers. The spicy Thai sauce was perfectly spicy. I added ginger and black pepper which really added to it. The beef is whatever so maybe get something other than that.

Indeed terrible service just as how others had reviewed, no thank u, no smile, not helpful and NO FREE DRINK which the Yelp promoted! I asked twice and the old looking waitress told me their boss said no any free drink for Yelp customers, but I found here bcs of Yelp's direction! Totally regretted I had already paid the food $16 for a Pad Thai, and it tasted awful as well, why did the rice noodles taste like plastic gum which took ages just to chew!! Unbelievable! Can Yelp delete the promotion in case more people walk in and get disappointed?
