Went here early in the morning and we got the Lake all ourself. Such a beautiful hidden gem. Nature as it’s best!!! We could even hear the morning howl of the dingos. So fine whitesand that you can’t even imagine that the lake was made out of rainfall.

Amazing lake in the inland. We visited in winter so the water was quite cold, but it was still nice to get your feet in it.
Our guide explained that this is a rainwater lake, so it is very good for your skin and hair, plus the sand is apparently very good for a scrub because it is super fine, he even said some people use it to polish their jewellery.
There are toilets, a picnic area and a car park. Just make sure you don’t bring food and drinks to the lake because dingos are around and can get aggressive if they smell food near you.

Magical spot on the Island. A perched lake with the most pure clean water in Australia. Well worth a swim. White silica sand, sapphire blue water surrounded by rainforest. Short walk from the carpark. 4wd access only. Toilets and fenced area to eat.

Beautiful lake with stunning clear water, wonderful sand, easy parking and adequate facilities. It’s a lovely spot if only there were less people, but even when it’s busy you can walk a few minutes left or right to find a quiet spot.
