It's location within Parramatta's Justice Precinct isn't the only reason that the coffee shop is so named; the cleverly-titled cafe is exclusively populated by lawyers and their clients. Luckily, the prices aren't reflective of what I generally think of when I consider a lawyer's salary - a small coffee is $3, a salmon wrap $9 and a cider $7 - bargain prices! The food is GOOD too - generously portioned and beautifully prepared, it's hard to imagine that you could do much better in any of Sydney's famously-overpriced cafes. The service is fast and unpretentious - the girl behind the register smiles at everyone that she serves, which must be difficult when you're faced with criminals....and the courtroom defendants. She's particularly nice to us - I want a coffee, my friend wants a muffin. So she tells us about the ol' "coffee and muffin for $5" deal, which saves us a couple of bucks. Nothing too serious, but how nice is that!! My favourite thing about Legal Grind though, has to be the stack of magazines and newspapers on the big wooden table in the middle of the coffee shop. Reflective of the extremely diverse crowd that it attracts, you can peruse Woman's Weekly over your hot chocolate, or get stuck into the Financial Review over your glass of red. If you're being arraigned in court, or just happen to be walking through the Justice Precinct, I'd definitely make a pitstop at Legal Grind!

Found a hair in my foccacia - absolutely disgusting...asked for a refund and was declined. They issued me with a new foccacia with yet another hair. Unless you like filth in your mouth dont go here. Coffee was so burnt as well.
