This restaurant is amazing! Starting with the food, if you’re looking for traditional Albanian food, this is the place! Al the dishes we ordered were super good, we tried several of them and they all were home made and super tasty!
I recommend ordering several smaller dishes, so that you try as many as you can, because you will not be disappointed. The moussaka was divinal and the stuffed pumpkin and courgettes were delicious!!! For dessert, we tried the homemade cake, which had figs jam on top, and was an excellent way to end the meal.
Finally, the lady serving us offered some dogs grown by them, for us to try. They were awesome! Still regarding the lady, she was one of the nicest people we have found in Albania! Always helping with the gluten free dishes and giving us tips for the city! We had a nice table outside, which was nice! Definitely worth trying!!

🥗 Just the most amazing food I had during my trip to Albania!! Everything was delicious and it felt very homemade.
👏 Special mention to the amazing owners who were very very nice and welcoming to us, even if we were a large group of people that was difficult to accommodate!! I will never forget their hospitality and smiles! They even gave me some Mountain tea to bring home which was so sweet!!
💙 Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Berat, you won’t be disappointed!

Can't say enough good things about this small family-run restaurant. Server was very friendly and happy to help. Dishes were all clearly homemade and fresh. We tried 5 different items and then came back again the next day to try a couple more.  My favorites were the stuffed eggplant, the okra, and the fërges. You need to be a fan of peppers, though, as they are abundant in most dishes. Portions are about medium sized, so maybe order a couple dishes to try or order several plates for the table & share. After each meal, the server offered us something from the kitchen to try as we left. Some pears, plums, and jelly. Best restaurant in Berat!

Really good restaurant in the middle of the castle district of Berat! The staff is very friendly and the overall atmosphere is great, especially helped by the music. The food is really tasty, I highly recommend the chicken soup (the lemon adds a really nice complexity to the dish) and their homemade cake with cherry Jam.

Absolutely the most delicious traditional food prepared by the parents of this family owned restaurant. Best we’ve had in Albania so far! And the family that runs this restaurant were so kind and welcoming. Definitely eat here, we had such an amazing time! Also, we were there two days ago, it is not closed like the overview claims. Go here!! For reference we got the mousaka which was incredible, definitely get this!
