We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights this December, and our experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The amenities were excellent, and the property was impeccably clean. However, the bed setup was disappointing—two single beds pushed together that didn’t feel like a proper double or king-size bed. Additionally, the room lacked sufficient lighting, with the areas around the bed and wardrobe remaining particularly dark.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of options but lacked variety in warm dishes.

The biggest issue, however, was with the staff. While most were friendly and made an effort, many seemed inadequately trained. During check-in, we were only briefly informed about the amenities and had to ask follow-up questions about key details, such as opening times. Furthermore, important information—like the fact that the ski pass includes free public transport—was not communicated to us.

At dinner, we were served by 4-5 different waiters, some of whom were unsure about our orders. When we ordered a premium bottle of wine to enjoy over two evenings, the staff decanted it, which diminished its aroma and quality. Additionally, we were charged for bread and butter that we hadn’t ordered. While we later learned this is customary in Austria, it should have been explicitly mentioned in the menu or by the staff. Another issue arose during the gala Christmas dinner, which was advertised as including an aperitivo. However, we were unexpectedly charged extra for the aperitivo despite its inclusion in the description.

I’d also like to mention that we consistently left a 5-10% tip on the total bill after each meal. However, given that the prices are comparable to upscale London restaurants, the overall value and experience fell far short of expectations.

The most disappointing moment came during the Christmas dinner, when the pianist, hired to perform, was charged for ordering a beer. Out of sympathy, we ended up covering the cost ourselves, as we found it unacceptable for the hotel to treat their performer in this way.

While the hotel has potential, significant improvements are needed in staff training, communication, and ensuring value for money.

Very beautiful hotel with a fantastic spa in a great location for visiting the Olpererhutte. The hotel is more than a health spa, and health exudes the philosophy of the workers we met. It's definitely a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Daspost Hotel. All the staff and especially Kelvin went above and beyond to help us with our stay. The breakfast is great and dinner was exceptional. You can tell
the chef takes pride in his work.

Wonderful hotel. The staff go above and beyond to help all of their guests. The outdoor heated pool and spa are a nice way to relax after a day of skiing. The breakfast was amazing. I liked the option to order off the menu in addition to buffet. The juicing station was a nice touch. Would love to stay here again if I was in the area.

One of the best 5 star hotels in DACH region and I have been a regular traveler for 10+ years. Staff was super nice and welcoming. They helped us in every way possible. I loved the pool and sauna area. It was clean and well equipped with selected fruits, tea and nuts assortments. We would love to visit again.
