We were warmly welcomed and given an upgrade to a junior suite, which we very much enjoyed. The suite was very spacious and gave us a luxurious feeling. Some tips to improve our stay was a small manual on the digital app how to use the heating system in the bathroom as well as the room. When arriving the room was 29 degrees and only by opening the windows we could cool the room a bit down, to 24 degrees. The bathroom was set on 34,5 degrees and we were unable to turn this down. I was a fan of the shower products, but as a woman I love to use shampoo & conditioner as separate products. The towels however were very soft and changed daily. Breakfast was amazing, we enjoyed the service and the delicious fresh products. The hotel has got an A-location! We trully loved our holiday at House of BLE and would def recommend this to others.

Stayed for three days to explore Vienna and the Christmas market for the first time. We arrived at the hotel early so had to wait to check in but they were kind enough to take care of our suitcase while we ventured out to pass the time.
The hotel is in a great location, so many shops and restaurants are within walking distance as well as the historic buildings and had two Christmas markets in easy reach.
The room itself was very modern and comfortable, suited our needs just fine. Only hiccup we encountered was that there was stains on the bath towels but it was no trouble for the staff to switch them out for us.
We didn't opt for the breakfast, but we had a couple of drinks in the restaurant which were okay but a bit overpriced.

Something to be aware of, where we were in a room overlooking the street, you can hear a bit of traffic and where there is a subway underneath the road, you can feel vibrations when it passes.

Otherwise, we had a lovely stay. Great, great location for what we wanted to do 🙂

I'm so disappointed in my stay here. My husband and I spent one month traveling across Italy, Munich and Austria. Our stay at House of Ble has been the most disappointing for the expectation. The rooms are nice and clean but that's about it. There is nothing warm or inviting, including the service. No one was particularly rude, just not seemingly welcoming either. We did not do breakfast, it looked basic and not worth the cost. We paid for the second most high end room they offer. We were put in a room immediately off the elevator facing other rooms from the building. The "rooftop lounge" is okay if the weather is good, view is only okay. But the sauna and workout area were a joke. The sauna wasn't even on and no clear instructions on how to turn it on. The workout area is 3 machines that don't look well cared for. It rained the day before we got here and they were all wet. We waited in the restaurant when we arrived for our room to be ready only to be offered a menu of 5 options, that's including starters, mains and desserts. The rooms are NOT sound proof at all. We stayed in a hotel much older than this that had been not so recently renovated and our room was also right off the elevator and that place was sound proof! In our room there are many mirrors all that let off a LOT of blue light during the night (they have a light option built in) so if you are very sensitive to light, good luck! The AC did not seem to cool much. We set it to 20C and the monitor never read lower than 23C in the room. And best of all, our last day there was some sort of major construction work going on in the center yard (where our room faced.) As if the lovely sound of heavy drilling, banging and machinery wasn't enough, it let off some horrible, toxic off-gas smell, so then we also had to shut our windows. We were offered NO warning whatsoever that this work would be happening!! Overall, this place has severely let us down and is definitely not worth the high price point we paid! Every other place we stayed either met or exceeded our expectations. I was so excited to stay at House of Ble, it is where we ended our trip. Sadly, it has been the worst stay we've had. I will end with a positive and say that we did ask for things like ice for our room, a bottle of wine to be opened, coffee from the restaurant in our room and some silverware and they were accommodating and helpful every time.

Too expensive for what you get. Lovely rooms (beds could have been more comfortable), nice breakfast and location but overall not worth the high price point for a new hotel that is just starting out. The breakfast is great but the room itself is dreary and dull/monotonal and the public artwork (cheap and basic canvas art) does the place no favors. The bathrooms, although lovely could use more hooks/bars to properly dry one's towel and we did hear strange plumbing sounds (loud gargling) in the ceiling early in the morning..

However, the justification for the relatively low rating in our opinion is the service. Coming from the point of view of someone who has had a lot of experience with hotels over the decades, I felt that the people at the front desk were not especially nice/hospitable at any point during our stay. Granted, if the price point was at the lower end of the spectrum, it wouldn't have mattered so much. When we checked in after a long travel day they were quick to point out, almost gleefully, that I had booked it for one person and not two. When they told me about the relatively big increase in cost (not just for the extra breakfast but for the room as well) they acted like it was no big deal, in spite of my disappointment which I didn't hide, and or seemingly couldn't wait to ask me for more money.

While I admit it was an uncharacteristic mistake --- I told them that booking.com has me down for two people on their search tool as my default but it didn't do much to elicit any sympathy. Naturally, anyone would be disappointed to run into this extra charge on top of what was already by far my most expensive stay on this three country tour. In spite of this we still had a wonderful time in Vienna. Such a beautiful city!
