Very good hotel. We stayed for three nights. The staff on reception were excellent. Helpful and friendly, made us feel really welcome. Very good room with all we needed. Comfortable bed and good shower room. We really enjoyed all three breakfasts! The bread/cheese/ham in particular. The afternoon/evening lounge was just right for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. The location of the hotel is good. 15 minutes walk into Vienna centre or 5 minutes walk in opposite direction to find alternative shopping/eating areas. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the "real heart" of Vienna. It is not a classic hotel as you would expect. And that's exactly what makes it special in my opinion.
You feel like you're in an apartment and not a hotel.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Every wish is fulfilled immediately.
The rooms are exceptional and very individual. As you can see from the pictures, this is not a classic hotel room. Those who like this charm will love this hotel.
The amenities such as in-room attentions, the lounge and the breakfast are also perfect.
So if you don't want a standard stay in Vienna, but a special experience, this is the place for you!

Can’t wait to stay here on my next trip to Vienna. Centrally located, great rooms, great staff and service, the breakfast and tea time snacks were so delicious and the common areas are beautiful and nice to relax in. Superb experience!

I went there for a group meeting and I haven't rent a room. However, location and service were great. Food at their restaurant is also great.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Altstadt! The staff made every guest experience thoughtful and meticulous. The hotel is filled with so many cute and personalized surprises; it was incredible!

From the prosecco upon our arrival to the chocolates on our pillows after each day's turnover, every detail was perfect. We were also delighted with the personalized beauty products and travel information provided. The delicious and healthy breakfast each morning was the cherry on top.

This is truly a luxurious boutique hotel, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! We look forward to returning one day!
