What an amazing experience we had, each dish was a discovery of ingredients from South America. Also great wines from different regions. You can tell this restaurant has a heart and soul. Thank you for the amazing journey of tastes we had.

Z'Som has turned out to be an excellent  chance discovery and a fantastic dining experience. We're visiting Vienna during the passage of storm Boris and we were looking for a place close to our hotel and with good reviews. We were expecting something nice, given the high ratings, but the quality of the food, the unusual tastes and textures, and the care placed on dish presentation have been truly beyond what we expected.
Owned by an Austrian-Chilean couple, the tasting menu offers a range of flavour experiences based on Latin American traditions with Asian tones.
All dishes were delicious but I would particularly highlight the sweetcorn symphony dish, as it was truly spectacular in the variety of corn flavours and textures. The pigeon in four variants was also superb.
The service was also very good, explaining every dish with warmth and enthusiasm.

As an added bonus for us, the staff is multilingual and we enjoyed their introductions to each dish in Spanish.

I cannot recommend it enough.

What a lovely place operated by a couple. We were there for a special event called Amigos Latinos.

This was the second run of this special. They invite one or more chefs from Latin America and prepare a special set menu with wine pairing.

They offer prime dishes that are common in the country of the guest chef and mix in their take on certain dishes. This evening a special guest from Chile was preparing a breathtakingly set menu.

We had the pleasure of tasting six different and incredible dishes. We opted for the wine pairing and were intrigued by the wines from Latin America.

The chef, owner his wife and the whole crew were friendly, attentive and eager to explain dishes and wines. We are looking forward to being back at this amazing place.

We had the pleasure of trying the 7-course tasting menu at Z'Som and it was an exceptional experience. The flavor compositions and the technique with which each dish was prepared were simply superb. Each dish was a masterpiece in itself, carefully thought out and perfectly executed.

The wine pairing was also outstanding. The selection of international and niche wines was not only interesting but also perfectly matched to each course. It was a pleasure to experience the food and wine pairings, which complemented each other harmoniously and rounded off the culinary experience.

The service and presentation at Z'Som are truly first class. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, creating a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. You immediately feel comfortable and appreciated, which made the evening even more special.

I can only warmly recommend Z'Som restaurant. It is a culinary highlight in Vienna that impresses with its taste, technique, wine and excellent service. A must for every gourmet!
