I'm so happy that we had a reservation in this place. It was so good to stay there.
I picked this place for my birthday  - once I entered the room, I saw a bottle of prosecco and a card with a handwritten note with warm wishes.
The design is great, and the rooms are big and warm. Breakfast is also quite good. There was a menu , so you need to wait for some 5 minutes to receive your freshly cooked breakfast.
They have cinema there - we had no time to visit it, but I think that it is an amazing bonus for a hotel.
I also had a chance to play piano in headphones there while I was waiting for my room to be prepared.
For lunch, you can go to the buffet and try some meat with beer.
We left our luggage in storage after checkout - it's a self-service, which is very comfy to use.
I would definitely return to this place once again.

The location is very central. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are really tasty and you can choose from 3 viennese options which is nice. The coffee is excellent as well. Also there is a daily free bar and snacks in the communal area which is great. You can poor yourself a beer and make a meat sandwich! (unlucky if you are a veggie and don't like beer though) We enjoyed our stay but there were a few problems which for us made us feel the hotel was little overpriced overall.

Our room was directly opposite other buildings and windows so you feel you have to keep blinds drawn and lights on, even in daylight. Also our room was pretty noisy-because it's central you'll hear late night revellers so take some ear plugs. The air conditioning was totally ineffective and I found the temperature was like a sauna most of the time. If you like it hot you'll be OK. We had to open the window periodically to cool the room down.
The shower and facilities in the room are good though.

There is also a cinema with free popcorn showing a selection of Vienna related movies in different languages. We chose mission impossible, but unfortunately this proved to be mission impossible to set up! Tom cruise would not have been pleased. When we turned up to watch it, the projector had clearly not been setup at all, it was projecting onto the ceiling, and could not be rectified. So we had to abandon our movie night which was very disappointing.

Overall it was a little underwhelming. Next time I'll be going for a more standard hotel with a hotel bar etc over the boutique set up.

We spent 3 nights in this charming hotel. Everything was great! The room was very spacious with a freestanding bathtub and sink and separate toilet. The design was clean and cosy. There was organic breakfast a la carte which was delicious. And last but not least - the staff was really friendly and kind.

The location is brilliant. Literally walk everywhere from this place. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts are beautifully presented and more like a fine dining experience. The left luggage lockers are super convenient. We really enjoyed our stay but I think a boutique (small) hotel is exactly what it is. It comes with compromises which for us made us feel the hotel was little overpriced for what was on offer.

1. The rooms. The bedding is nice quality and the rooms are super clean. There's a well stocked and fairly pricey minibar but no tea or coffee facilities, which I really prefer, especially after a long trip. I also prefer a separate en suite bathroom. The sink and shower bath in the same room didn't work for me and unfortunately we had a dripping tap that disturbed our sleep somewhat. The towels by the shower are not bathsheets, they're small and not overly luxurious. The rooms are directly opposite other buildings and windows so you feel you have to keep blinds drawn and lights on, even in daylight. The rooms were poorly ventilated and stuffy. For the price per night, I would like better and probably a more conventional and proven accommodation model.

2. Breakfast: Breakfast is served by very lovely staff. They were bright and very polite, very refreshing. However, your meal is very cramped on tables that are too small. The buffet items like yoghurt, cereals and fruit salads were difficult to self serve, being contained in small jars with desert spoons to serve portions. It would have been so much better in a larger bowl with a larger serving spoon. A number of items like spoons, and condiments had run low and weren't refilled quickly probably because the very nice staff were overwhelmed with guests ordering food options. A self service buffet is just much more efficient and convenient for guests and they can comfortably eat what they want. Equally, I would prefer to refill my coffee than order from a waitress. Time is wasted waiting and milk can be subsequently forgotten etc. I suspect space is just too tight for a generous and efficient buffet style service.

On balance, for the money per night, I would like a hotel to completely master the basics first and spend less time on quirky details, duck ponds in reception, scooters etc which don't really offer the guest much beyond an initial reaction.

Still, this is a nice hotel but just not a 4 or 5 stars based on my travel experiences. Thank you all the same.

This hotel is super convenient! A 3-minute walk to the nearest train station with tram stops. A 5-minute walk to Stephenplatz and the cathedral. Restaurants and shopping galore right at the doorstep. The location is unbeatable. The service, impeccable. The best breakfast served every morning like you are in an expensive restaurant. Other than the usual breakfast fare, Ala carte meals are served as many time as you wished. Truffle egg, beef goulash, sausage stand. To top it off, Prosecco for breakfast!!! Tea break is served complimentary from 3-5pm. Lovely meatloaf and free flow beer! There is always an upbeat feel about the staff. They truly are “Crazy for You (the guests” and make everyone feel right at home. The room is big and comfortable. I chose XL and have more than enough space. Excellent water pressure. Will stay here again if I come back to Vienna. In fact, if I live there, I’ll stay there for staycation just to enjoy the hotel!
