The rooms were of a good size, with recently updated bathrooms (shower was very good). I wish the rooms had been more ’cozy’ - it all felt a bit ’cold’ (not temperature). But, it was all compensated by very friendly staff and a great breakfast.

A great Hotel to spend your time after wandering the streets of Vienna, quite central to everything, Stephens Cathedral, Christmas markets, central shopping district, restaurants, historic palaces and monuments and Roman ruins. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast are perfect to start your day and the roof top bar and restaurant is beautiful.

A very good choice if you want to be close to St. Stephen’s Cathedral! It is an area full of shops, a Christmas market, and places to eat. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a safe, minibar, heating, and decorated in their specific style. Even though I stayed in an area that was very lively with people, it didn’t affect my sleep, as the room was well soundproofed. I also slept with the window open, and everything was fine (7th floor, room). However, I didn’t like the mattress, which was hard and not to my taste, but the pillows, four in total, were extremely comfortable, and the two comforters were warm. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, offering pastries and a city map at the reception. They have a nice restaurant near the reception, but I didn’t try it to see how the food is. They took a deposit of 30 euros, but I got it back a few hours after check-out. In front of the hotel, there is a Billa supermarket, as well as a McDonald’s open until 4:00 AM. If I have the chance to visit Vienna again, this hotel will be my first choice. Thank you!

We had wonderful time in the Royal Hotel
The bedroom was very spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and warmth.
Staff nice and friendly  and the breakfasts with big variety of food. Location  is just right in the heart of Vienna. Thank you so much.

Great hotel. Very clean and the service is excellent. If i had to fault is that the tv is not a smart television. On the other hand its a fantastic place with a great location. Highly recommended
