The ambiance in this place is amazing - the view of the cathedral is breathtaking.

However, the ambiance is all you are going for. The service was incredibly slow, despite the fact that the restaurant was not particularly full. The €18 glass of champagne served initially was completely flat with 0 bubble, so had to send back. The sushi was just fine, but nothing special.

The food was very tasteless and extremely expensive, the only plus is the view of the cathedral, the service is terrible... the lady who came took the order only for a few family members, we didn't have time to tell the rest, she just left very dissatisfied, it took a while until we got another waiter, only later another waiter changed, a dark-skinned man, he changed the whole emotion and mood. thank you to him. I will not visit again.

We went there on a Saturday late afternoon. We made reservations before so we got seated near the window with the beautiful view. The staff were friendly. Food was ok nothing memorable.

We enjoyed our meal at Onyx Restaurant; the food was delicious. However, we found it to be quite expensive, and the portions were small. Additionally, we would appreciate it if the staff could be more considerate of families with children. The waiter gave us a table near the smoking area, which was not ideal for us, but another waiter understood our situation and helped us move to a more suitable table.

Went there for a date, very beautiful place with incredible view of Stephansdom with little balcony for cool photos.
Food was very tasty but if you want to feel full you better order snack+main dish as dishes are not very big.
Desserts are another theme, we had raspberry bonfire and chocolate surprise and these were one of the best we’ve ever tried.
The only thing that disappointed was service, no one came to us during our dinner and we had to find a waiter ourselves to order desert (as you only reserve table for 1h 45min) in time.
And of course, prices are quite high, €20-25 per main dish but the view pays it off.
