I had the pleasure of staying at the SO for my birthday, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable two-night stay. The room was simply beautiful - elegantly decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable and the bed exceptionally comfortable, plus all amenities provided were of the highest quality.

One of the true highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make my visit special. Whether in the lobby, the elevators, or any part of the hotel, I was always greeted with a warm smile and genuine kindness. Their attentiveness and professionalism made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was one of warmth and hospitality, perfectly balancing elegance with a welcoming charm. I could feel that guest satisfaction is a top priority here.

I can confidently say that this was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had, and I will undoubtedly be returning. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday so special—I am already looking forward to my next visit!

When you enter the Sofitel, you are already greeted by amazingly friendly stuff. Everyone at the hotel is extremely helpful and puts in great efforts to make your stay great. The breakfast with the best views over Vienna is a highlight itself. Both the views of the room as well as the comfy beds make your stay incredible. Also the sauna and relaxing area is a must. We can highly recommend to stay at the Sofitel in the heart of Vienna.

Had a great stay here! The location is perfect, with a stunning view to the city. Well done to the interior designers and workers for skillfully matching, as much as possible ofc, the resin floor, walls, and furniture colors to the specified gray tones. The staff of the hotel were exceptionally friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the poor acoustic insulation; can hear everything from the corridor... Additionally, the service at the ground floor bar left much to be desired. Nevertheless, a great experience!

It's a pity that the hotel makes so little of it's potential. The rooms are big with nice views, but interior is outdated, damaged and generally not in good shape. The staff is cold and not welcoming. I asked for a quiet room and was up all night because of constant noise (either kids in the next room or maids cabinets, not sure), albeit the hotel was rather empty. Shame, with a bit of work this could be a nice hotel. Will not recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at SO/Viena, very friendly and helpful staff.
Well located hotel, walking distance from downtown and main attractions and restaurants.
Facilities at the hotel are great
The only thing we didn't like is that the room service menu is very short, needs more options.
Other than that we loved everything, amazing view from the room, and restaurant.
Breakfast was very good as well.
