Nice food, some flavors really reminding me of authentic Thai food. The staff was also very nice and I appreciated the relatively low level of noise. The concept of a few dishes on the table at the same time was typical of Thai meals so another good note.
We had the vegetarian menu which was nice but I think I would have enjoyed better the meat dishes. Too bad I couldn't order the non vegetarian menu without fish which I can't eat!
Maybe another day.

We were slightly disappointed initially that they couldn’t modify the set menu to cater for an allergy. Most places we have been to are able to do so. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the a la carte food greatly, specially the rice noodles and the ibérico pork. The grill gives the meat an amazing flavor. The space is well utilized and eating at the kitchen counter feels intimate and it is cool to see how they prepare the dishes. They have a good selection of wines. Our server (an Asian girl) was very helpful. We will likely come back.

Not only consistently good, but really understands Thai and South East Asian flavors so well that it brings you back to Thailand  and doesn't hold back on strong but tasty flavours.

This is really not a gimmick restaurant and probably the best modern take on classic Thai dishes.

Chef and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

5 course changing menu with decently portioned dishes.

I finally made it to Old Boy, not the easiest place to get a table at. I had high expectations of this hyped place and overall I was happy.

More detailed I liked this place. The food it good and made with love. The menu is innovative and changing often. It’s definitely a cool place attracting food interested people.

The food is good and has a lot of flavour. I got to try some things, like dogfish, which I haven’t tried before. Plus for that. It is however not a place you get super full. The portions are on the smaller side - so do not come starving. We left wanting one more dish to fill us up. This is however not to say that the food we indeed got was nothing short of flavoursome and good.

The service is okei. Nothing special but nothing bad. They do what they have to but nothing else. I dropped my chopsticks on the floor but did not get new once’s. My friend ordered a glass of wine (from a really long and impressive wine menu) - but this glass she never got. It was still charged on our bill. At a finer place like this I was perhaps expecting a bit more service. My first table weeks before was also cancelled as “they had over booked to due faulty systems”.

The interior is cool and modern. I really liked the open kitchen. The place is loud, but adds to the vibe.

To sum it up: old boy is cool, modern and creative. The food is good, but the portions are small for the price you pay. Come with friends to enjoy.

Had an epic solo dining experience here! The cooks, the waiting staff, the other individuals sitting at the counter. And most importantly, the food. Simply amazing. The highlights being the surprisingly spicy and crunchy rice noodles, the flavor packed mackerel ravioli, and the delicious Char Sui Toast - the marination and tenderness of the meat coupled with the soft and subtle sweetness of the toast… truly amazing. I was only in Brussels for a short business trip but if I ever return to the city, OLD BOY will be where I eat!
