If you like the charm of old buildings and if you're more of a guesthouse person than a hotel person, this is the place to be for visiting Brussels.

The place looks like shown in the pictures and totally fits my taste. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean, it all feels cozy and comfy. Only positive words about the host as well - Pascal is a very polite and helpful person who's been living in Brussels for decades and gave lotta helpful advice. I also very much appreciated his fine sense of humor.

As long as your legs are healthy (the staircase is steep) and you prefer old buildings to new ones, I recommend the place without limitations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Carmelite Guesthouse and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, Pascal, the owner, warmly welcomed me into his home and made me feel like family.

The guesthouse itself is a true home away from home. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the soft and luxurious linens to the tasteful decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

One of the highlights of my stay was the location. The Carmelite Guesthouse is conveniently situated close to all the landmarks and attractions that make this city so special. Whether it's exploring the historic sites, indulging in the local cuisine, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the charming streets, everything is just a stone's throw away.

But what truly sets this guesthouse apart is Pascal himself. His genuine hospitality and personal touch made my stay truly unforgettable. From recommending the best local restaurants to arranging transportation, Pascal went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable experience.

I cannot recommend the Carmelite Guesthouse enough. If you're looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay, with a host who treats you like family, then look no further. Your stay at the Carmelite Guesthouse will be nothing short of exceptional.

Great stay, great host, great location and very beautiful, authentic room.  Perfect location for exploring by foot as it’s centrally located near the sights, and no more than a few mins walk for food and drinks.  Host is a great accessory to use for all your questions about Belgium, Brussels, and the local area for all things (food, culture, etc).  Each morning he preps breakfast, and is open for you to talk about anything that’s on your mind about your visit.  Room is nice and authentic..  great for relaxing from your exploring.  Wi-Fi provided.

Highly recommend the place. The host is super friendly and very focused on providing a great experience to the guests. Helpful tips, delicious breakfast, and a great sense of humor. The room is so cozy and so beautiful.

The location is perfect, really close to the main attractions in Brussels.

Definitely, the place where I'll stay when I visit the city again.
