Unfortunately, our experience at Chou Sando was quite disappointing. While the Sando Ebi and Sando Tonkatsu were good and all the ingredients—including the miso soup—were super fresh, the service was a huge letdown.

We waited 30 minutes for our sandwiches to go, and the cashier was outright rude. When I mentioned that we had been waiting for 20 minutes, he corrected me in a condescending tone, saying it was "maybe 15, but not 20." No smiles, no friendliness—just an unnecessarily unpleasant attitude. Looking at past reviews, it seems we're not the only ones who have had a bad experience with service here.

To make matters worse, they were handling a large number of Deliveroo orders, which likely caused the delay. If you're planning to eat here, expect to wait a long time, especially for takeout. The food was fresh and decent, but nothing exceptional—and for the steep price of a mere sandwich and a 30-minute wait, it’s just not worth it.

We won’t be coming back.

CHOU SANDO is a fantastic spot for fresh and delicious Japanese-style sandos! I’ve tried it several times, and the quality is always top-notch—soft bread, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get. However, the only downside is that the restaurant has very few tables, so you almost always have to take away. Still, it’s absolutely worth it for a tasty, satisfying meal!

I was really happy to be able to try the sandwhich here ! I was afraid that it isn't going to be enough but it was more than what I had expected. It's very tasty, well balanced taste and very fresh. I didn't expect it to be extremely good. The staff are very nice as well !

Would definitely come back to try more 😻 (also price wise it was worth it !)

Took the Torikatsu and it was amazing... unfortunately there was no place to eat in but it was sunny outside....
The atmosphere was very cool, good music, the designs on the walls and the japanese writings bring a charm to the place.
Really enjoyed this place and hope they gonna expand more in the future.

The sandwiches were delicious! You get a looooot for the price. They use a lot of veggies on all sandwiches and really delicious spicy mayonnaise, too. We had the chicken and ebi fry sandwiches, they were great!

The bread was nice, but not as thick as the slices of Japanese Shokupan usually are. That's fine though, it would be impossible to eat the sandwich otherwise, due to the large amount of toppings you get 😍
