Spent a lovely two days at EU B&B.  The host, Sara, was very friendly and helpful, and was willing to stay up late to check me in.   The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom and shower room.  Also appreciated having a separate kitchenette area with freshly ground coffee and fruit available at all times.  The location was also great, within easy walking distance of the City Centre.  Made a nice change from a typical hotel stay, and at a fraction of the price!

We had a beautiful weekend in Brussels staying here! Firstly we arrived early and Sara was super accommodating, allowing us to have an early check in as the previous guests had left early and the room was ready! The room was fabulous, very spacious and clean and a super comfortable bed. There is a kitchen available with was perfect for us to prepare breakfast. The guesthouse is in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood with great access to the center of Brussels. I would highly recommend this for any visitor to Brussels.

We have our own privacy suite in the back of a residential home. It is super quiet and clean. The water heater and heating system work great. We also appreciate the small refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishes. We can eat in if we want. The host has a bar and restaurant nearby. Great food! We are very happy with our stay.

Positives: Premises were clean, bed was comfortable, common kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, fridge; owner is communicative. There are stores, bars and bus stop nearby.
Negatives: My experience with EU B&B started from that I got an upgrade to separate studio apartment located in the back yard of the building. It seemed nice at the beginning, but there was very strong smell of mold and so I found mold in both bathroom and the room. It was only 14 C in the apartment when I arrived (though the heating system quickly warmed up after I turned it on), so lack of heating and moisture are perfect conditions for mold to grow... I had also a hussle with first not being able to lock the room from outside and the other time I could not open the door - not a dream situation when you traveled since early morning and just would like to finally relax after arriving.. I asked the owner to relocate me to other room, so I was placed in the room downstairs, next to the entrance. That didn't have mold, but it was also very cold at the beginning. Took another several hours to warm up snd I was shivering the first evening and the first night. Quickly it turned out that everytime somebody was walking upstairs the whole ceiling of the room was making a loud squeaking sound. Also could hear every noise made in the house, so it was uncalm, especially when people were slamming main door and running up and down the stairs. There was some kind of celebration on Friday night, with male voices singing till about midnight (btw, it was the Good Friday...- somebody christian could feel offended by that). I was staying 3 nights in EU B&B and I regretted that I did not book a hotel room. I got a EU B&B suggestion on booking.com probably due to the free cancellation policy that I used in filters, but you can actually get a hotel room in the same or similar price... The localisation is kind of OKish, depends what you need - if you use public transport - there is a bus stop just ~100 m from the BB, but if you prefer walking- it takes about 25 min to get to the central train station.

We stayed in a small room downstairs on multiple trips. Yes, the room is small compared to American Airbnb/hotels, but on par with European standards. Blackout shades and a super comfortable bed made for amazing nights sleep. Perfectly clean. Location is fantastic. There’s a small shared use kitchen and the coffee was great. There’s even a little garden. And our hosts were so nice!
