Beautiful lobby, Spacious rooms, nice gym, friendly staff.
Excellent location to use as a base to explore Brussels, extremely easy access to transportation and walking distance to a bunch of the major tourist sites.
Didn’t eat/drink at the hotel but the lobby looked really lovely and had wonderful lighting.
It’s a design hotel and under Marriott but didn’t feel like they were recognizing status.

I found The Dominican on a list of the best hotels in Brussels, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance, and the comfort and service are exceptional. I had made a special request with Victoria Piano after booking, and it was kindly accommodated. On the check-in day, Christopher at the reception went above and beyond, upgrading us to an even more comfortable room. His professionalism and kindness were much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel and bar , but ...

Unfortunately ,  a staff ( waiter at the bar ) can make the experience less enjoyable by acting belittling to the visitors.

On the evening of 04.04.2025, we. visited the lounge and bar  to have some drinks. When some of us asked for a tea the waiter acted very irritated and told us to go to McDonalds or another less fancy establishment for such order and that the bar is not serving tea in the evening . The tone was shocking.

He showed irritation and dismissiveness, which is a bit strange for a place where people normally enjoy high service.

The bar was not full, and the only reason i could think of for such behaviour from the waiter is either a personal issue , not related to us, or the fact that some of us were dressed more casually , due to a previous event happening before that.

I still like the place and this is why i invited my friends there, to show it, but if the quality of the service maintain like this, I am afraid the reviews like mine will grow and push away future clients.

On the one hand, a good hotel with a good location and an interesting concept. the bar in the hotel is quite good with pleasant staff. Despite this, the beds in the rooms are terrible, review your mattresses, because it felt like you were sleeping in a hole. I also advise you not to forget anything in the rooms, even if it's just a toy, because most likely you won't get anything back. Surprisingly, the lost thing just disappeared and the guys from the reception just shrugged their shoulders and apologized. If this happened with an ordinary toy, which is worth nothing to others, what can happen with more expensive things. Be careful. I hope that housekeeping, who cleaned room 136 on 21.12.2024, is happy with the find. Hope dies last, so I expect a reaction to this situation from the hotel manager. If the emotional aspect is important to you during your vacation, then I do not recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel and the location is perfect.
Close to central station
Breakfast is very good and it’s so relaxing to sit in that area.
They have a nice bar as well.
