Great hotel. Very nice and clean. The tub/shower combo could be difficult if you are older; the tub is very tall.  Otherwise, it is great. Poet is a nice restaurant  to visit.

The bed was very comfortable, providing for a restful night’s sleep. The room was clean and well appointed. It did have a tea kettle and tea, but not coffee. A mini-fridge was also provided.

There was a well equipped work out area and pool.

The location was convenient to the central train station and shopping district. About a 10€ Uber fare, or quick ride on the bus. The bus stop was right around the corner.

The headquarters of the European Union was a stone’s throw away.

If you prefer to have coffee out in the morning, there are several real good places, just around the corner. Also, Paul’s bakery is a short walk away. Probably less than 10 minutes.

I would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time staying at this hotel (the past stay was in the summer) and both stays have been consistent in terms of service and amenities. There are key standout staff here, the guy in the picture in the elevator giving directions (sorry I didn’t catch all their names), the tan and friendly bellman (he remembered my colleague), and Silvia at the front desk.

Breakfast is an above average setup for the limited space with an elite members section in the back.  The only difficulty is the lack of space especially during the busiest times, which is easily mitigated with an earlier or later breakfast time.  The executive lounge is an interesting on the second floor (listed as floor 1).

Rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff were always kind.

We utilized the hotel for an event. Although a little dated, the hospitality suite is well appointed.  Our experience was very positive and we will be back.  If you are having meetings nearby no traditional hotel is better located for your stay.

Horrible experience at Renaissance Brussels last weekend! Multiple mistakes were made during our two days stay including taking a security deposit twice (second time unauthorized) and only refunded half my money. I called and emailed and no one cares they took my money and wouldn't refund.
Beds were hard as stones, keys were switched off without reason mid-stay, not to mention we were allocated rooms right next to the scaffolding of working builders.
I don't usually leave reviews but as a travel agent I feel people should be warned as they scammed really bad.

As an Ambassador level, I travel a lot and the hotel was good. One of the better ones. But the staff’s uptight and not flexible - they refused a hot cup of milk at 11 am because “sorry, the restaurant is closed”. Very strange.
