A truly amazing 3 nights at this cosy hotel in Brussels.

We booked a room with 5 beds and they were extremely considerate to offer us an early check-in, as we reached Brussels early morning, with 3 kids.

Located at a very convenient area in Brussels, where we could take a tram straight from the Brussels Midi station to the hotel. Grand place and other attractions are reachable in about 25 minutes walk from the hotel.

The room was quite artistic, adequate and the bathroom had a tub and a separate walk-in shower. The hot water pressure and temperature were perfect and had everything we needed including tea / coffee, shampoo, towels, and soap. It was serviced every day while replacing tea / coffee. The breakfast was quite adequate, although there wasn't a big spread.

However, the chill pool wasn't in operation, but overall it was a fantastic stay at GEM Hotel, Brussels. Thank you very much for everything!!

We will surely stay next time in Brussels too.

We’ve just spent 3 days at Jam, and we were super excited to be staying there (despite some questionable reviews). But we’re here to tell you, ignore them! This hotel is WONDERFUL. This isn’t a hotel for families (I note families are mostly writing negative reviews here), this is for adults - a cool and chic get away in Brussels with industrial and minimalist energy and decor (and a rooftop bar.. Small amount of noise, but you’ll get over it). Rooms are a good size for a city break, clean and thoughtful additions in the room - only two areas to that could been better… room probably could have been slightly cleaner upon checking in (hair in the sink, etc) but the housekeeping kept it well maintained during our trip. And the other was that the room was hot, there is air conditioning but we couldn’t work ours as it wouldn’t turn out - but it’s Feb, and they have windows. All in all, fantastic stay and we’d be back if we return to Brussels.
Special mention to Olivier, for checking us in and answering all of our questions - a credit to the hotel.

I can't believe this is a hostel. It was simply beautiful. Super clean and modern and great rooftop bar/terrace. Wouldn't really call the swimming pool a pool though, more of a pond hahah.

When I sought to reschedule my stay to an accident, I was met with what I could only describe as contempt by Olivier, seemingly because I chose to book through Expedia. He offered no solution and no understanding. Eventually, another member of staff, Badr, informed me that I could amend my date for a fee of £50 so we set a new date.
When I arrived I met Olivier and his attitude was unchanged. Not even ounce of politeness. He then charged me €190 extra. Without explaining where the extra fee was from.
Fed up with the interaction, I paid the fee so that my children could go and rest.
The hotel itself was not very family friendly, which is strange considering the layout of the larger rooms.
The noise from the street is very loud, especially the trams passing.
The whole affair was diabolical, and I would not advise anyone to stay here with staff like this at the front desk.

Good value for money. Very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Safe and welcoming neighborhood. Friendly staff. Quite close to city center.
Space in four-bed-room was a bit narrow. When reserving and mentioning that we”d travel by car, we were unfortunatly not advised about the required number plate regsitration for the Brussels Low Emission Zone. This is going to cost us a 450 Euros fine.🥲
