Out of this world! This place is mandatory for food lovers. This Chef is truly an artist! And we were flabbergasted by his kitchen!  Oh my god!

Wat een heerlijke culinair-eerlijke ervaring! Een absolute aanrader. Top gerechten op het degustatiemenu gepaard met mooie frisse wijnen. Uitstekende, vlotte en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit een zeer verzorgd modern interieur.

Het was opnieuw een leuk weerzien met de gastvrouw en de chefkok. Het is altijd een plezier om haar te horen vertellen over de gekozen wijnen. Je wordt meegezogen naar de locatie van de wijn en kan niet wachten om deze te proeven.
De creativiteit van  product combinaties die de chef gebruikt in zijn gerechten zijn heel geslaagd dat het smaakt naar meer.
Dit alles gecombineerd met een mooi interieur en prachtige locatie, kan gewoon niet beter.
Zeker een aanrader en wij komen nog terug!

It was again a nice reunion with the hostess and the chef. It is always a pleasure to hear her talk about the chosen wines. You are drawn to the location of the wine and can't wait to taste it.
The creativity of product combinations that the chef uses in his dishes are very successful and leave you wanting more.
All this combined with a beautiful interior and beautiful location, it simply couldn't be better.
Definitely recommended and we will be back!

Nagenoeg perfecte culinaire ervaring vergezeld van topwijnen.

De bediening en de sfeer zijn top: Tafels staan ver genoeg uit mekaar, de sfeer is huiselijk, en op de achtergrond zie je de skyline van Geraardsbergen ("'t zicht").

De wijnen die de gerechten begeleiden zijn zeer gevarieerd en haast allen top. Enkel de rode wijn vond ik maar 'gemiddeld' (en ik ben nochtans eerder een rode wijndrinker).

Mijn favoriete gerechten waren de aardpeer én de signature dish (ganzenlever - peperkoek). Deze zijn echt memorabel.
1 gerechtje vond ik net iets minder: Butternut met coquille. Naar mijn mening was de butternutrollade net niet gaar genoeg en de coquille net iets te gaar.

Nearly perfect culinary experience accompanied by top wines.

The service and atmosphere are top notch: Tables are far enough apart, the atmosphere is homely, and in the background you can see the skyline of Geraardsbergen ("the view").

The wines that accompany the dishes are very varied and almost all top quality. I only found the red wine to be 'average' (and I am more of a red wine drinker).

My favorite dishes were the Jerusalem artichoke and the signature dish (goose liver - gingerbread). These are truly memorable.
I liked one dish a little less: Butternut with scallop. In my opinion, the butternut roulade was just undercooked and the scallop just a little overcooked.
