Je zou er zo voorbij rijden maar het is een verborgen parel die zeker een stop waard is.

Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.
Fantastische gerechten met lekker bijpassend wijnarrangement. Het Bob-arrangement is zeker voldoende.

Op een zaterdagavond culinair verwend geweest door het team van Jean-Philippe! Van begin tot einde een onvergetelijke avond gehad. Zeer mooie menu met allerlei heerlijkheden uit de zee. Sublieme smaken en prachtige bordjes. Ook heel fijn dat Sara-Sofia ons bij de aangepaste wijnen vaak de keuze gaf tussen 2 flessen. Ook leuke muziekkeuze in het fijn ingerichte restaurant. Proficiat aan dit jonge, hardwerkende koppel. Ze hebben een parel van een zaak! En ook special credits aan Emma en Olivia voor de vlekkeloze bediening! Wij komen terug!

Received a culinary treat from Jean-Philippe's team on a Saturday evening! Had an unforgettable evening from start to finish. Very nice menu with all kinds of delicacies from the sea. Sublime flavors and beautiful plates. It was also very nice that Sara-Sofia often gave us the choice between 2 bottles for the adapted wines. Also nice choice of music in the nicely decorated restaurant. Congratulations to this young, hardworking couple. They have a gem of a business! And also special credits to Emma and Olivia for the flawless service! We will be back!

Heel erg lekker gegeten! Zeer spontane gastvrouw en gastheer,  geen stijf gedoe, heel vriendelijk. Leuke muziek op de achtergrond, aangename sfeer. Kleine opmerking: er worden  kleine porties wijn geschonken (bij de aangepaste wijn), dit mocht iets meer zijn voor zijn prijs.

Very tasty food! Very spontaneous hostess and host, no stiff fuss, very friendly. Nice music in the background, pleasant atmosphere. Small note: small portions of wine are served (with the adapted wine), this could be a little more for the price.

Toen Jean-Philippe (ook de naam van het restaurant) en  Sara-Sofia eind 2023 met hun nieuwe zaak in Ingelmunster van start gingen was dit voor de regio nog een bijkomende topper (NAST, de andere nieuwkomer, ligt immers op nauwelijks op 5 km afstand) en dit in minder dan 1 jaar.
Door de vele positieve recensies waren de verwachtingen dan
ook hoog gespannen toen we gisteren onze opwachting maakten.
Het lekkere huisaperitief op basis van rhum en de 3 hapjes (schitterend van smaak én uitzicht) konden ons al onmiddellijk overtuigen en deden ons uitkijken of de chef dit hoge niveau gedurende het volledige  6-gangen-menu kon aanhouden.
Wees gerust : van tonijn, langoustine, zeebaars over kalf tot de 2 dessertjes (het 1ste op basis van rabarber en het 2de op basis
van meloen) : allemaal culinaire hoogstandjes!
Ook de deskundige uitleg (always with a big smile) van Sara-Sofia bij de aangepaste wijnen moet zeker benadrukt worden met als uitschieter telkens de keuze tussen wit of rood bij alle 3 de voorgerechten.

The delicious house aperitif based on rhum and the 3 snacks (beautiful in taste and appearance) immediately convinced us and made us look forward to seeing whether the chef could maintain this high level throughout the entire 6-course menu.

Wij hadden hier naaruit gekeken, ondanks dat we al enkele negatieve reacties hadden gehoord.
We moesten al een tijdje wachten om binnen te kunnen, een kil onthaal.
Het eten was lekker, verzorgd. Niet waw
Maar jammer genoeg kregen wij 3 verschillende prijzen voorgeschoteld.
Een prijskaart van Januari, een prijskaart van September en online nog een andere prijs. Als wij hun hierover aanspraken was er geen gesprek mogelijk. Enkel het bancontactbakje kregen wij onder onze neus.
Jammer, voor een restaurant die niveau wil presteren.
