Was a while ago that I've eaten that well. Approximately 70 € per person all inclusive, Michelin level. Great!

Samedi 1 février 2025, dîner. Déception ! Entrées à la carte:  Bouillabaisse de la mer du nord manque de saveur,  manque de réduction vin blanc , manque de l'ail, trop liquide. 1 demi Homard tiède, caoutchouteux.
Plats:  jeunes filet de barbue, trop cuit ou surgelés ? Accompagnement 5 petit morceaux de pdt cressonette et 1 mini demi tomate et une sauce béarnaise manquant de vinaigre, d'acidité. Eau de la maison facturé 12 euro litre. 4 euro de supplément pour le homard ok indiqué sur carte mais n'en valait la peine. Il faisait froid dans le restaurant. Le vivier ou étaient les homards était sale . Bref une addition de plus de 130 euro pour ça....

Saturday February 1, 2025, dinner. Disappointment! A la carte starters: Bouillabaisse from the North Sea lacks flavor, lack of white wine reduction, lack of garlic, too liquid. 1 half lukewarm, rubbery lobster.
Dishes: young brill fillet, overcooked or frozen? Accompaniment 5 small pieces of cressonette cheese and 1 mini half tomato and a béarnaise sauce lacking vinegar and acidity. House water charged 12 euro liter. 4 euro extra for lobster ok indicated on the menu but not worth it. It was cold in the restaurant. The tank where the lobsters were was dirty. In short, an addition of more than 130 euros for that....

Très belle surprise !
Pourtant Francophones avec un bongo !
Accueil rien de plus normal et une cuisine à tomber par terre !
J’ai vraiment bien mangé , je suis portant en général assez critique.
Bel endroit proche de la très belle place de Veurne.
Un menu imposé ( nous nous présentions avec un Bongo ) mais 3 choix à l’entrée et au plat  , des plats de qualité . Le choix des vins ( fait par le patron ) est vraiment correct et franchement le patron n’est pas regardant à la quantité .
Nous avions un peu peur de l’accueil vu certaines critiques … mais nous n’avons rien à reprocher à l’accueil. Le patron est néerlandophone mais parle et s’adresse au client en parfait  français si nécessaire.
Franchement une cuisine excellente.
J’espère juste y retourner !

Beautiful place close to the very beautiful Place de Veurne.
An imposed menu (we showed up with a Bongo) but 3 choices for starters and main courses, quality dishes. The choice of wines (made by the boss) is really correct and frankly the boss is not concerned with the quantity.
We were a little afraid of the welcome given some of the reviews... but we have nothing to complain about the welcome. The boss speaks Dutch but speaks and addresses the customer in perfect French if necessary.
Honestly excellent cuisine.
I just hope to go back!
