We had a delicious valentine dinner at Appelsveer. Everything from the valentine menu was yummy 😋 and very friendly staff as well.

Nice place in very quiet area, very lovely place. We were there for a  birthday surprise resto for my cousin this last Saturday ( 13 August 2022 ) . The employees were so nice, kind, lovely, friendly ready and happy to help but only one elderly lady in 50's who was serving us was very mean to us, not friendly and not open at all. She snapped when I changed my seat seaking for the shadow in very poor manner ordering me to get back to my origin seat like we were in army, like I was her baby boy, or i was just the rubbish which I refused politely. When she sow that people were shocked by her behaviour she gave as an excuse that she did not want to mix up the orders. To me she did not look like a simple employee but the owner which gave her probably that confidence for treating me like a trash . After that incident I did found out that I wasn't the only one who she did treat that way, few of my family members and friends said   that she did not have the communication skills and did not respect them as customers. Myself and family are originally from Africa so that can give you a hint of why she behaved that way towards us if I am not wrong. Just to let you know, my cousin's other half is a nice white guy and so him and  all his friends and family did not experience the same thing as we did 🤔. So people if you are heading there and you are BLACKs be aware of this one person, because she might ruin your great time and family memories.

Appelsveer is a very cosy and warm place. A restaurant that is rightfully mentioned in Gault-Millau! Oh and Ollibolli in the garden: delicious ice cream! A perfect match with the very cosy garden!

Food was really good. My wife said it was the best food she eat in our 3 weeks Holliday. Calm relaxing atmosphere, reasonable prices, excellent food what more do you want?
