Bar Bulot in Antwerp was the perfect spot for a birthday lunch! My husband surprised me with a meal there, and everything was absolutely delicious. The calamari was a standout—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The dishes were beautifully presented, and each bite was a treat.

Wonderful experience.   Very kind staff, very tasty food and nice atmosphere. I can guarantee that my daughter's selective diet makes her even more demanding than a Michelin critic, and she loved the food 😄 We get the menu of the day,  the price is affordable.

I have been to many good restaurants all over the world. From brasseries to 3 Michelin star restaurants.
I can honestly say that Bar Bulot was one of the best, if not the best, culinary experiences that I've had in a long time. The taste as well as the presentation of the classically inspired (but slightly reinvented) dishes were simply superb. Here, you are served real food with every component being done to perfection.
The atmosphere in this picture-book flemish farmhouse, which has been completely modernized inside, was perfect. I can only say the same about the fast and friendly service.

By the way, I think I had the best fries of my life (I can say this as a Belgian) ;)

Bar Bulot is an absolute gem and is highly recommended, their use of fresh ingredients and delicate handling of the flavours made it such a joy to eat at. There was nothing I could fault of the experience, the entire gamut of fine dinning was maintained to such a high standard that if you are in Bruge you should visit here as a priority.
