I drive down to this place  from  Brussels at least once a year and each time the food is excellent. The owner has been joined by his son who has upped the ante.
I savoured his latest creation "ode to the North Sea" and it was fantastic.
Close to the restaurant they run a small hotel where you can stay the night after your meal. The rooms are spacious and breakfast with local products (prepared by the chef himself) leaves nothing to be desired.

Overall we enjoyed a great evening. The restaurant is very well set up, you have space without being too far away from your guests. Very good diner of course, a bit too much sauce to my taste - and especially the revisited quiche Lorraine was heavy without being surprising. Great meat and refreshing agrume desert. Wine list is good but could be even better. Service could be a notch higher for a one star (we had to ask several time not to speak Dutch, it was complicated to get water, little sommelier advice,…)
