This place has a nice vibe with it’s slightly surreal no man’s land location right next to an abandoned border control.  We went on a very warm Saturday evening and found a nice table in the garden. We had the elegantly served  butcher’s plate as a starter, followed by ceviche of sea bass for one of us (it was spicy and had a fishbone in it) and an entree of warm summer vegetable, served in a hot casserole for the other. to our surprise the main course was pretty much a copy of that entree, only this time with a dry, overcooked cod on top of the same mixed vegetables - a bit strange. The staff were really nice, the beer list inspired and the location pretty cool, so we will give the Terminus the benefit of the doubt (after all it is ranked as a bib gourmand by Michelin) and blame the less than perfect experience on the fact that the restaurant was packed to capacity- the staff seemed a bit overstretched and probably the chef was too. Seems like this restaurant is biting off more than it can chew…a smaller menu and less tables could be a good idea.
