Charming restaurant serving good quality food, cooked by someone who knows how to cook.
Was recommended to us by a local lady who lives in the city and knows the good places to go.
We chose main course dishes based on Croatian traditions. All delicious.
Used super fresh local ingredients, fish, shellfish, vegetables, pasta.

Visited the restaurant for lunch. What an incredible experience! Wonderful service and an incredible lunch. The fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The best meal that we have had in Dubrovnik. Have already booked again during our stay. A must for anyone looking to eat out in Dubrovnik.

Fantastic meal, fantastic atmosphere! We enjoyed the calamari, risotto, prosciutto & cheese, almond cake and pear dessert! Maro was a top notch human who made our meal even more special. Best meal in Dubrovnik! No questions asked.

This Restaurant is awesome! The food is amazing, the ambiente is wonderful and the service is very friendly. We felt welcome and it‘s not expensive at all. We‘ll come back, when we visit again. 10/10!!!

We had a delightful meal at 44 that was marred by a couple failures. The duck was delicious and rich in flavor. The calamari were tender and tasty. The black ravioli were creatively prepared and also delicious. The orange chocolate cake was a fitting end to a very pleasant evening. And our server was extraordinary, funny, kind, communicative, and thoughtful. The owner generously upgraded our wine when the one we selected wasn’t available.

Unfortunately, the tuna was served very rare rather than medium as promised, and the sauce was an unsubtle concoction of soy sauce and few other flavors. In addition, the green ravioli was uninspired and served with a very ordinary pomodoro sauce.

On  balance, this restaurant deserves your patronage. But it is not in the highest rank of establishments that perform everything flawlessly. A good but not great experience.
