I love this restaurant!
Zagreb has been a place we stay because we need to get to the airport early, not a destination for exploring etc.
Pod Zidom changed all of that. PZ makes me want to come back just to enjoy the food and service of this wonderful restaurant.
It's well located in the beautiful historic part of the city and very accessible from most Hotels.

Our experience at Pod Zidom was a gastronomical success and we loved every single dish we tried combined with the wines that our amazing waiter Marko suggested us. Every single dish was a surprise and we loved all of the them. The combination of the good food the amazing service and the atmosphere was one of our best experiences. Definitely we would go again if we visited again Zagreb.
We recommend it hundred percent!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Pod Zidom.  It was a very inventive menu and was executed brilliantly.  The “open lasagna” with rabbit ragout was one of the best dishes we enjoyed on our month-long trip.  The wine list is deep and fairly priced.  Service (Marco) was impeccable. Top recommendation.

Had lunch in Pod Zidom Bistro. This is a Michelin recommended restaurant. We each had the most delicious mushroom and chestnut soup to start, bread with a variety of spreads and a main course each. The food was good though my steak was a good piece of meat it was surprisingly dull. Sounds a bit strange to say the meat was dull but it was. The rest of the plate was interesting. Good coffee to finish our meal.

The service excellent. This is a popular bistro amongst locals and seems to have been 'discovered' by tourists. It was busy while we were there.

We had the meal of a lifetime.  We were not expecting to have such an amazing and memorable experience. We happened upon the restaurant on a random Wednesday night and were so lucky that they were able to accommodate our family of five.  We had tuna tartar and squash blossoms as starters. Both were outstanding. Dinner was beef cheeks (all decided this was the dish of the night) lamb gnocchi, and oxtail risotto. We also had their propriety red wine (2 bottles!) it was so good.  The service was attentive yet relaxed. It was just such a fantastic meal and experience.  We were in Zagreb for only one night and we were so fortunate to have this experience. If you have the chance do not miss this restaurant!
