Makarska is a prominent regional tourist center, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between the Biokovo mountains and the Adriatic Sea.
Is a perfect blend of mountains & sea.
The town is touristic, it can be crowded at tines & also in the summer it can get very hot.
Great beaches, great harbor from where you can get different boats & tours.
Also if you have accommodation up the hill prepare for some workout :)

I love walking in the harbor, looking at the boats and sea. And this place fulfilled it. The harbor is clean and sometimes full of people on the promenade.
