I have been twice. Day after day. A wonderful combination of tradition and modernity. Elegant and original serving of dishes, with portion sizes and fair prices. Nice atmosphere, nicely arranged interiors. Very good price of wines, great service. Congratulations to the owners and chefs for such a unique place. Certainly, when I return to Varaždin I will visit this place again.

We had a dine-in at Bedem. The food was very good prepared, and ingredients were fresh. The service was excellent.

One of the top restaurants in Varaždin, best quality to price ratio. I would suggest, however, to make a reservation in front since they don't have a lot of tables. Plus parking can be a little problematic. Otherwise I only have praises to give. I would definitely recommend it and I'll most definitely come back!

Brilliant meal, with an especially tasty sauce accompanying the lamb. The portion was also fairly large. The waitress also recommended a delicious tea to try. It's a bit pricey, however it is a Michelin recommended restaurant (since 2018) and is worth the splurge once in a while. The waitresses were also well versed in English and Google translate was always available when things got a little confusing.

I was on a hunt for Michelline star or guide restaurant,  that's why I tried Bedem.
I had fish in pastery with roasted veggies which was good but veggies were overcooked, too oily and too salty.
The dessert was the highlight of the menu, I selected pumpkin Icecream with pumpkin oil and pumpkin seeds. Creative. Natural and tasty.
