Visited Nimb Bar for afternoon tea and it was a lovely experience. The menu was pre-selected and all flavors and teas were wonderful. The presentation and atmosphere was perfect, as was our table right by the fireplace. Our server Kim was so kind and knowledgeable and we truly enjoyed our experience. It was a very special visit for my mom's birthday that we will remember for years to come. Thank you.

What a magical end to a wonderful day! We had plans to cap off our day at Tivoli Gardens with drinks at the Nimb Bar. We had reservations for a special event, but it was canceled. Mario went out of his way to make our evening special anyway. What spectacular service (and lovely atmosphere and drinks as well).

The afternoon tea here is probably the best bang for the buck with all things considered. It's at a choice location (if you are by the Central Station or Tivoli) and a fancy setting. The service is excellent and food is great. And definitely come hungry as there's a lot of it. Seating was very limited so definitely book with them first.

Oh my goooood! I love their afternoon tea in this place. I went there with my foodie friend Johnny and afterwards we were so full that we went straight home to have a nap. At least I did even though he sure was talking about it some when saying goodbye. It doesn't seem like much, you know, to have a little finger food and then some scones and perhaps a little cake, but all of a sudden you're ambushed and close your eyes, just for a little bit, in their soft, soft chairs. You can barely move. You're so full. And wasn't that last strawberry cake just the best? Or was it the little salmon sandwich at first?

Excellent 3 course brunch. Nice and quiet. Under-stated elegance. The chef was accommodating for any needs - the way it ought to be done- with other excellent substitutes. Pricey but not considering the quality and ambience.

Having recently turned 40 I was fortunate enough to having received a gift certificate for a "Luksus Brunch" at the Nimb Bar this Sunday from my dear colleagues. Let me start by saying that it is the most expensive brunch arrangement I have ever attended and probably the most expensive in Copenhagen. So the big question is obviously - is it worth it? Let me try to answer that in this review. As part of the brunch there are two servings on the menu plus a varied buffet selection. Drinks like coffee, tea, juice and water are included and are served generously throughout the session. The first serving was Oysters and Cremant. Not a bad way to kick off a Sunday afternoon. Then we ventured in the buffet with both a standard selection of bread, cheese, sausages but also a more interesting selection with mini-servings of boiled egg with mushroom, salmon, braised lamb shank, beans, crudite and much more. For dessert there was a large selection as well. Finally our waiter brought the second serving - an orange parfait with crumble. At this point we are all completely full but there is always room for ice cream and it was as delicious as the rest of the food. In short you cannot fault the food, but what really sets this place apart is the interior, the service level and the ambiance. The building and the interior design is fantastic. Then entire building has been meticulously restored and updated a couple of years ago. The service level. Right from the start our waiter made us feel totally at ease. Never interrupting or absent.Always present, helpful and smiling. Simply perfect. The ambiance is the final thing I want to comment on. An ear-pleasing mix of chill-out and classical music sets the scene. Comfortable sofas and far distances to the neighboring guests ensures privacy. A lit fireplace. And the very spacious room with its spectacular drawings on the wall combined with the quality of the flooring, furniture and lighting ties everything together in an exceptional quality experience. It was the best 3 hours spent in a long time. The total experience is exceptional and I highly recommend it for that reason.

I'm giving this five stars mostly because this place is unforgettable. (The drinks were great, but the place was inimitable.) My friend and I went on a Sunday night, and it was EMPTY. A huge, ballroom-sized bar and we were the only two there. We remarked that it felt a bit like The Shining. The decor is amazing, with a fireplace at one end, and several half-finished portrait murals on the walls. As for the drinks - YUM. Helmut (who, granted, didn't have much to do with only two customers) poured delicious cocktails, and for the last round poured us his favorite drink to make. Totally fun. Expensive (everything is expensive in Copenhagen). Worth the trip.

Whenever I have out of town guests or family visiting, I want to bring them here because it is such a nice cocktail bar. In Copenhagen, it's not a big thing to go and hang out in hotel bars, but this is such a nice one, you cannot resist! The room used to be an old ballroom where they had big bands play, so the sound is amazing. The decor and fireplace make it so inviting, and the drinks are served in real glasses. If you want to celebrate something special, or it jsut being Tuesday, drop by for a drink and enjoy your surroundings- you won't be disappointed!

A delightful place to enjoy a glass of rose champagne. The place did not appear to be open but a very nice man, Elix found us a quiet table by the lake. I wish we were having a meal because he appears to be the perfect server. The kitchen smells yummy.
