This restaurant is now permanently closed and appears to have been replaced by an Italian restaurant. There is no food, no service, and no ambiance.

This resto was really fancy pants. It was not the typical Thai at all! And all though I prefer something a bit more on the basic side, the presentation of the food was beautiful. Tonight I ate a lot of things I don't normally eat - so it was a good experience. But can't say I will return.

This restaurant is owned by the owners of Kiin Kiin, although not Michelin star rated. The location is fabulous, at the end of Nyhavn (where all the colorful building are). There are plenty of outdoor seating but unfortunately they were all taken, so we dined inside instead. The decor inside is clean and simple, and not crowded for a Friday night, likely because the weather was so nice so all the patrons wanted to enjoy the outdoors. We were told the portions were somewhat small, which was fine since it allowed us to samples more items. We ordered chicken and pork satay, scallops in misobullion with fermented kimchee, sea bass with cucumber and salad with Thai marinade, braised pork belly, and coconut soup with quail. The satays we're good, the pork is better; the scallops were served with a fried taro and swimming in orange foam, and was yummy; the braised pork belly was too salty; the sea bass was cooked nicely, but was overpowered by the Thai sauce; and lastly, the coconut soup had a tad too much fish sauce and not enough coconut flavor. Similar to our dining experience at Relae, there was not one bite of food that had a wow factor, which we would expect from a restaurant opened by a Michelin starred chef. Service was good, waitress was friendly and chatted with us. Overall service and location was very good, wished we could have enjoyed the outdoor dining ambience, and the food was just above okay.

Incredibly mediocre service. They don't serve water but will bring you what appears to be tap water they carbonated themselves in a jug and charge you for it. Had the chicken sandwich which turned out to be of the deconstructed variety. Very small portions, flavours in the Thai chicken salad were terrific but the slightly burnt two pieces of store bought white bread ruined it. For the price it's not worth it: hit the food market on the bridge 200 feet away from here and at least the price will be right!

Probably the most exotic presentation of Thai food ever. Portions are small but their flavors are incredible. One of our dishes was served on a cold water filled plate, the other, a tom yum soup had a syringe in it which contained the noodles. Overall a great experience!

First night at 71 Nyhavn hotel and too tired to look further than next door for dinner. What an unexpected and amazing experience! Absolutely enjoyed every dish served... Black Salmon, Lamb Shank, Foie Gras and for dessert, Lime foam and Mango Sticky Rice. If you're expecting traditional Thai, Mango sticky rice was the only dish., and it was still unique. The rest of the menu was a true chef's creation! Expect the unexpected and wake up your taste buds for a special meal! Service was spot on.

Big Kiin Kiin fans but first time here. I wish I could rate the food. Unfortunately we never made it past service. 30 minutes and no one shows. Understaffed for a busy day. Too bad. Great name. Great location. Menu looks interesting. We will try another time. Second visit. We were able to get a table without reservation. We were lucky. So the concept is different. There is a menu option but mostly ala carte. Unfortunately this makes the meal very pricy and a challenge to balance. The waitress did a good job of helping us with this and her recommendations were generally good. Also, the name of the restaurant suggests a seafood focus. This is far from the case. Bottom line, with the wins and losses it comes out as just okay.

So move past the service. This restaurant has outstanding food with sophisticated and fresh flavors. Settle in with a lemongrass mojito be Danny and go with it. The Nyhavn menu is to die for.
